Anyone else tired of having combo points as a pally? I’m not a fan myself

Ret has a lot of problems. Holy power isn’t one of them.

I’m fine with having a resource system and gave my opinion on how it could be improved.

Improve Holy Power

The current 5 combo points of holy power is a limited resource system. The amount you can either spend or generate is set in chunks of one to five and no in between. Making abilities like the essence lucid dream wonky when refunding half the cost of a resource spender. The change would be to make it into a bar of 100 holy power. Abilities like Judgement and Crusader would generate 20 holy power, Blade of Justice 40 and Wake of Ashes 100. Spenders like Templar’s Verdict and Divine Storm use 60…

I’d be open to change but what would we change our core mechanic to?

Given how Legion ret overhaul worked out in the end, I’d rather they keep holy power and look after our other building sites first…mobility, rotational flaws, MOBILITY, dead talents and last but not least: mobility.

Honestly I’d be fine with our mobility if they brought everyone else down to be inline with use more then just an endless arms race to demon hunters.

That’s exactly the point. Reduce mobility of others OR give us more mobility OR give us a way to deal with high mobile classes without being mobile ourselves. Which route they take doesn’t matter in my book.
