You can be a minimalist clicker and be successful with holy, regardless of the difficulty of the content. You need an addon called Clique. A good unit frames addon will help. I use elvui.
Map the following abilities to mouse clicks in Clique:
- Holy Light - LeftButton
- Flash of Light - RightButton
- Cleanse - Alt-Rightutton
- Target Clicked Unit - Shift-LeftButton
- Open Unit Menu - set to something that does not conflict to the keys and clicks above
Map your all your healing and utility abilities (including those above to key shortcuts you can reach easily with the fingers of your left hand.
Suggested key mappings:
1-4, E, R, T, F, G, H, V, B, N, Q, X, N
You can also Shift or Control key combo all of those keys.

This is one possible optimal Holy Paladin healing setup. Note that all clicks have keyboard equivalents. This is to give you as a Holy Paladin healer the flexibility to use a few clicks or keys as you see fit. Find your optimal playing style. If you are clicking buttons on your toolbars, you are doing it wrong. Feel free to add your own optimal Holy healing setup. We can learn from each other.
Note: This setup works great for all healers, especially hybrids. I use nearly a very similar setup on my restoration Shaman.
