Holy next?

While being patient. (Trying hard to be lol). The shadow and minor disc changes show they are at least somewhat listening.

I’m hoping Holy gets some consideration of change in the near future.

Want to move Holy into a better spot. Somewhere away from the, you can just play disc for M+ attitude. I want that for disc as well in raids.

Not going to panic, but I admit, I am very disappointed Holy was not mentioned this go around.

Hope shadow mains enjoy their changes though!

I got my fingers crossed for Holy, still lots of time for changes to come through. My guess would be they’re waiting for some M+ testing before making any changes. But Holy definitely needs some.

Did a +10 with Holy to test it out, heavy PoM build with Oracle.

Mending seems like a crazy “does everything” button now, almost too good to press and painful when it’s not available to press.

Ultimate Serenity is OK but the Sanctify/AoE effect is a bit toothless. Without talenting into it PoH doesn’t seem to be doing much of anything so there’s a lack of “oh no” AoE buttons.

Benediction feels really good but appears far less than I’d intuitively expect with all the PoM mayhem going on perpetually.

I suspect with better secondaries/spell power the hard casting will feel a bit better. REALLY missing Shadow Word Pain as “something to do” to help on on DPS. Purge the Wicked, please.

Holy certainly isn’t going to beat the “pruned to within an inch of its life” allegations and the kit feels a bit bare but it wasn’t unfun? Having so much power loaded into instant cast spells (PoM and Ultimate Serenity) makes for a much more mobile Holy Priest than I’m accustomed to. Would just be nice to have some of the randomness toned down (Renew procs, Ripple, Mending bounces) and a liiiittle more punch put into the baseline spells, particularly PoH which feels like a dead fish.

I’m pretty positive nothing drastic is going to happen to Holy, which for myself is what I’d prefer. I really enjoy the current iteration in TWW and MN is mostly looking up to stay relatively the same. But I would like a few changes.

SW:P back, its far too handy in the open world to have it taken away.

Benediction to proc off of something that is not PoM (maybe mastery?), it would be nice to have a bit more variety in builds that are not so focused on PoM. I feel that the apex talents shouldn’t force the PoM side of the tree so hard.

Symbol of Hope back, I think Holy really needs some good unique utility to differentiate itself from disc more. This could be plenty of other things also, it does not exclusively need to be Symbol of Hope.

Guardian Spirit baseline to 1 min or maybe 1.5 min. Or just give it the Guardian Angel talent baseline.

Remove Lightburst, Holy Nova on a 30 sec CD is very weird and clashes to Holy Priest’s theme of Holy Words and reducing their CDs with other spells. Maybe give Lightburst a substantial CD reduction toward chastise? It would have to at least 20-25 seconds of CDR honestly to make it smooth out the damage rotation in AoE. We will essentially be spamming smite in AoE for that CDR if no changes are made, and that will not be a good gameplay loop. Rhapsody was a perfect talent imo, rewarded if you let it build up but also having the flexibility to use it as a CD reduction tool. It didn’t even truly need a weakaura or external addon to track, so removing it has me confused.

Nothing again.

Unfortunately, I will try another healer this exsp.

I just don’t care for the auto, over redirect, low control style. I have heard it’s not far off of current iteration. To me, that’s a problem.

I guess I was hoping for something new or a different approach to be excited about. This is not it, and I have a feeling, Holy will have a very low rep in most forms of content. Unless it’s over tuned of course.

Ripple as an apex is boring

I hope they change this to something with a little more agency, just a bit, please, for the sake of all that is Holy :joy:
