I came back to WoW around a month ago. I mained Healer in WoD and was Tank through Legion-SL.
I’m wanting to main healer again and I love HPriest (WW Monk aswell) but I’m at a loss.
I never used addons for healing in WoD and all the macros I once had are gone.
Any recommendations for some useful Addons and Macros specifically for healing and HPriest at that? I understand the core concept of Holy and I can keep people alive, but I know I’m making this way harder than I need to.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Mouse over macros are a must. I use them for all my healing spells. I know there’s an addon that does it too but I prefer having as few addons as possible.

Welcome back.
I’d recommend these mods:
- Clique( for mouse over healing).
- OmniCD (for tracking defensives).
- BigWigs and LittleWigs (gives you raid cooldowns).
- RaiderIO (dont ask just get it lol).
- WeakAuras (this lets you download and install custom made player scripts).

Yep, I use to have them all set up. Going through and doing all them now.
Thank you!
Clique and OmniCD were what I was looking for. I knew there were atleast 2 I was missing.
Luckily I know about Raider .io thanks to a buddy immediately telling me about a soon as I got back.

I would add ThreatPlates to the above list to see easily dispellable enemy buffs and more visible cast timers/mouseover targeting.

Are ThreatPlates as customizable as KuiNameplates? I’ve used it since Legion and it’s got similar function, but I stuck with it becase of the sheer customization options.
You know, I’ve only ever tried TidyPlates, ThreatPlates (which spun off from TidyPlates) and BetterBlizzPlates, and I prefer ThreatPlates of the 3. Maybe I’ll give Kui a chance one day. Basically as long as you have any plate add-on you’re vastly ahead of the unusable default Blizz UI for enemies.

Ill have to check out ThreatPlates and see how it goes.
