Hey, everyone!
Blizzard, really? Are you kidding me?
Any other random enchant illusion in my tmog collection looks much more shiny and 100% richer!
I’m tired wait for 3 seasons illusion at least a little close in quality to Shadowflame (DF season 2) one, although to be honest, illusions of DF seasons 3 and 4 are good enough, especially season 4, but actual one for TWW S1 is terrible, dislike.
You even could make Holy Shadow Сlash illusion, 30 sec it emits a shiny light stream of holiness and 30 sec it swirls darkness/void.

Neat idea!
I actually like holy fire, though. I think my absolute favorite is shadowflame, though. That being said, I liked all the df ones with appropriate mogs, and I still use sinful from time to time because they do cool things to weapons with glow effects.

I think they missed out on not locking in holy/shadow.

I don’t mind holy fire tbh. I think it’s one of the better ones from the past 3 expansions, Shadowflame being the best, and eternal flux being the worst.
That being said I really want a white enchant. Deathfrost is one of my favorite illusions and I feel like they could do something really slick with a white enchant. The sha one from remix wasn’t bad.

Holy fire obv going to be awesome for holy magic users and kinda meh for others.

Good thread so far. Holy Fire can sure be nice with the right mogs, but it doesn’t stand out or feel as crisp as Shadow Flame does. It’s basically 1 color compared to 4. It’s also about the combination of colors. Well, I suppose it’s ok for 1950 rating. I do wish that the weapon effect the royal guards in the City of Threads have was the PvP illusion, and maybe it could be scaled up and color matched to the tabard/cloak as well. I hope we’ll see more interesting ones as the expansion/s go on

The less demanding me wants to say I’m just happy we get an enchant every season at this point. If I’m being fair, I think this enchant is okay. It looks pretty nice on some yellow/gold/red gear but I think that’s about it. +1 for the ability to look good but -1 for being limited.
If I had a different critique it would be that it is too similar to the one we just got in S4 of DF.

The pvp cosmetics this season are pretty disappointing at least for the classes I like.

My main complaint is its pallor and dullness, not at all in its concept.

Not really, it’s just meh. And Bronze Infinite looks about the same, this ssn’s enchant and the elite weapons are just lame.
They should have tried to update this instead:
A 15 year old enchant looks better than most of the things they can come up with

I don’t agree about the weapons, I like the weapons, they have something from the black horsemen from the Lord of the Rings, Morgul blades.

They look like Torghast recolors, the only reason I bothered spaming Blitz queues on week 2 was the idea to get something out of 2400.
I kinda didn’t know they were just Torghast recolors and that they lowered them to 2100 lol, I’ll be checking them first next time.

I genuinely think it’s nothing special because of this reason

No, it’s not that great. And honestly I don’t care. I already have so many enchants to choose from. I don’t expect every enchant to be crazy good.
Maybe they should stop doing enchants tho and switch it to something else.

Based on the collective mogs of arena players as a whole, I’m going to say the reward should somehow make a person’s character seem more like a demon prostitute.
What, you want actual colors in your videogame?
Sorry kiddo, my game design art degree says pale and balanced colors are better.
Yeah I don’t know what happen with weapon transmogs but you’d think something like this should be easy to design.
Besides for some reason they been dialing the bloom effects on mogs for a while back.
The only good new weapon mog was back in DF just one. And the team didn’t even bother on making sure that weapon mog look good on all weapon types. The dragon flame one, all the others either so dim/badly design that not worth put it on.
Actually before dragon flame I think all the older ones were always much better than the newer ones.
That not even mentioning that’s there some really good weapon mogs from the old expansions still as weapon enchantments and never transferred to weapon mog useable by the player like fel flames I think and life stealing.
What’s really odd is that the only illusion this xpak so far comes from PvP? Unless I’m mistaken. At least the Kaheti Guard Poison I mentioned above one should have come from the raid… But you’ve got a decent point. Perhaps it is time to revisit the reward (And ranking…) structure and find out exactly what incenvizes participation (it starts with gameplay)
There’s only so much they do with a glow effect and there’s so many of them. Maybe it’s time to do something else, like a toy.
