I have no words to describe how f-cking livid I am right now that Arms cannot beat a healer through excessive dampening thanks to broken talents like Greater Fade and Holy Word: Consecration, and Greater Heal.
No amount of damage cooldowns or lining up of pressure can beat this.
Blizzard, I want my points back. I outgeared the priest by 20 levels and still lose because you cannot wrap your head around even a single modicum of what balanced is.

Lol nope, the most mobile healer with total immunity to every means of counter play, and no skill involved at all. This person is in TIMEWALKING GEAR. I HAVE THEIR ARMORY PULLED UP AND I AM LITERALLY THROWING UP OVER HOW DUMB THIS IS.
actually I can see holy easily winning 1v1 specifically against arms warrior, as arms is the only class in the game without self healing lol.
and 1v1 is probably the only situation where holy can perform even remotely on par.

Holy Paladin would be way easier because they don’t have a 65% max hp heal that is hardly dented by dampening or a sharpen blade MS.
With at least 75% dampening you should kill just kick first one and fear the second time. Should die if you use cooldowns.

That didn’t work. I did that.
I saved stormbolt and fear to break through one of her cycles but it doesn’t matter when she’s got a super evasion on a low cooldown.
Holy pally will never lose to arms 1v1, ever. In fact, holy paladin is probably one of the best 1v1 classes in the game atm.
I bet you’re not using your sharpen properly.
