Just when I felt that Unholy was in a good spot after SL being clunky af, just hardstomped into the ground

- Improved Death Strike increase to Death Strike’s healing has been reduced by 50% in PvP combat.

- Developers’ notes: Death Knight survivability has been substantially higher than we’re comfortable with, so we’re targeting several aspects of their defensive kit. They were unkillable but this was too much.
well now they are paper into physical dam and decent into magic dam, the real tragedy is sub getting obliterated with that 30% nerf to echoing reprimand
I could see maybe the surv nerfs but the 1 pull for slappy hands is way too much
I would of liked to see a few more buffs in addition to the nerfs but honestly, just seeing changes this early is great and I hope they continue regular balance tuning.
That abomb limb change is long overdue. The ability was completely and absurdly brainless
Those DK nerfs were on point.
Anyone who didn’t think will of the necropolis or death strikes current healing weren’t a massive issue, one of many, was just being incredibly biased.
love the abom nerfs. if they’re going that route, they really need to look at kyrian spear next.
let it pull in once or twice and apply an aoe slow instead. there’s no reliable counter to the ability that isnt warlock gate.
I always thought the term was sloppy hands.
It was absolutely an issue and needed adjustment.
But there’s a difference between adjustment, and 65% reductions. That’s way too heavy handed.
50% nerf to base death strike and 50% nerf to improved death strike, and the nerfs to ams will massively hurt DKs against any caster cleave.

It’s like. I get it DK’s were kinda unkilleable, but just don’t go to the other extreme! just Will of the Necropolis nerf + a maybe 30% nerf (once) in Death Strike would’ve been enough. But we got triple nerfed with Death Strike

I’m sorry that you all got hit that badly - genuinely terrifying and a gross overreaction in tuning.
And Spellwarden, the one that absolutely shouldn’t exist, is untouched. Lol, ok.
