Regarding the ending of these in-game holiday events I just want to say that the dates that the Blizz developers are giving are IMHO inaccurate. I think most everyone will usually understand that the “last day” of something is the last day you can participate in or buy something, usually ending at midnight of that day. My argument is that when Blizz says a holiday event ends, that is not true. It is actually the day before the end date they set. That will be the day that we all better get our event quests completed and turned in for our event rewards. Because the very next day in the wee hours of that morning, whichever server you have your tunes on, the event and all the holiday quest givers and conditions will vanish. I am sure there are quite a few more people besides myself who get stuck with event items, soul bound or not, that we have to lug around or store in the bank for another year. I am not saying Blizz is lying about the dates. What I am saying is that the Blizz Devs’ understanding and what most other people’s understanding (including my own) are on two different sides of the ballpark entirely. Clarification on their part at exactly what time of the “end day” events actually stop is in order.
So, final point being: as far as the Lunar Festival is concerned, we all better get our LF quests done and turned in on the 18th (2 whole days from this writing) before 12:00 AM, whichever time zone we are in, because the very next day those babies are GONE! Unless, of course, you want to be stuck with LF event items for an entire year.
