Why does holding shift prevent me from jumping?

Cuz jump is bound to spacebar. Not shift+spacebar. It’s a completely different keybind when you hit a modifier key. Shift, alt, and ctrl.
How do I remove the shift+spacebar so it will allow me to jump while holding shift?
you can put another keybind on it maybe? idk if you could do anything besides that its a totally different input

OH it’s toggle score screen! It still does nothing when I unbind it. Nevermind I got it. It works now with it unbound. So much better this way to play warriors in classic.

I put Battle Shout on Shift+Spacebar.
I like to jump while changing stances and moving around at the same time. The shift button is often used in my stance change bind setup.
Shift+spacebar shouldn’t prevent a spacebar input unless you went and bound something to it. I don’t believe shift+spacebar is a default bind for anything, so you must have created a the keybind at some point.

I’ve never really had this problem before. I’ve actually use Ctrl+Space, Shift+Space for Pet Defensive / Pet Passive since vanilla
Interesting. Maybe I was the problem the entire time. I will investigate this more thoroughly.
You need to unbind whatever is bound to shift+spacebar. I think by default that toggles the Battleground score board or something like that.

go to keybinds rebind jump as shift+ spacebar, then rebind it to just spacebar it will unbind whatever shift spacebar is

Shift+Spacebar actually brings up the scoresheet in BGs. It drives me insane b/c I use Shift+Numbers for utility abilities so it pops up at inopportune moments.

I had shift+space bound to Heroic Leap on retail. It just felt right.
Bind Shift+Spacebar to something else in the keybinds menu. Save it. And then go back in and unbind that key. Shift+spacebar will now do nothing and will act as if you are just pressing spacebar.
I just unbound it and that’s how I got it to stop doing what I didn’t want it to do. No rebinding necessary.

90% of the time if i jump and try to stealth at the same time, it doesn’t stealth.
