Found another poster who done all the math for the amount of time it would take to reach 40:
“A record number of players (that we “forced” to play by tying rewards they want to it” played the game so now every season will be more rewards!

Well… I gave it a try and this is pretty much a PvP event so PvE players are pretty much screwed. Getting dropped in the middle of packs of overpowered mobs doesn’t help. Getting roflstomped by mobs in the first 5 seconds of the match…
I don’t know if you get stronger as your renown increases, but I’m not sure I care to find out. This is pretty much a nightmare for players who don’t like PvP and dispise being baited with rewards that are practically unattainable. Don’t “git gud” me either, self inflicted torment is not my kink.

I think digs and such they added every patch are horribly boring and a waste of dev time.
That said I never made/posted about them during their release and cried that the devs wasted so much time on horrible content because I understand it wasn’t for me and I could just…not do it.
I’m saying this generally not specifically to you.
Not my thing however I can appreciate the effort put into it, my friend and my brother are having a blast… (They never come to the forums so I thoght you should know) So thank you. 
PS to Blizz Devs
Had a friend who started as a dev recently and was heart broken/discourage with negative comments and feedback on certain content he put his heart out to put out recently, so I will sum up what I said to him if you guys are having a rough time at work with the deadlines like he was:
“Blizz devs, community managers or/and GM if you read this remember that for every negative feedback there are those who enjoy the content and the effort you put out! So thanks!”

Assuming pvpers like this event? You dont play your character with yoyr spells its like 4 or 5 spells.

Tried it, from all BRs i played, this one is by far the worst.
Fix latency, make the grind faster, the experience so far is as dull and boring as lvling a brand new character from 0-20.
PS. Lvling is actually better in classic then playing this.
Edit: NPCS should die with 1 R combo, it’s baffling i gotta “grind” taking 20 years between 2-3 mobs, waiting for next week “fixes” after a week of players complaining.

I have a lot of thoughts about this event, but overall I think it’s a really fun idea! I’m not a big fan of BRs myself, but a WoW version? How could I say no?!
I think the timing is especially smart. A quick match-based game to kill some time when the main game’s content has slowed down between content patches? Love it!
I would love to see more stuff like this. More creative choices, more interesting new game modes, I’m here for all of it! It’s clear the devs worked hard on making this a fun experience, and I think they nailed it. Great job!
You should be ashamed of yourselves. 
The Development time that was wasted on, could have been used to produce things your player base actually wants.
Here is a short list, all you have to do is follow it.
- Player Housing
- Class Skins
- Race/Class Restrictions
- Dye/Coloring System
- Story Mode
- Arakkoa/Naga/Vrykrul/Ogres

I sincerely wish that these calculations were true.
Whatever Dev or person said that the minimum amount of coins you can receive per match was 500 was downright lying.
I got to play for a…not-so-solid 2 minutes one match and got all of 40 coins. Tying Transmog, which they know most people who love transmog, to a practically PvP event is a disgusting move and shame on Blizzard for it.
Addendum: It was actually 40 coins, not 100.

I didn’t have any idea what it was going to be. I would have very much appreciated knowing what it was before I resubbed. Out of every game mode I have ever played, BRs are hands down the one that infuriates me the most. Sure, it’s my fault for clicking play knowing this, but I do feel kinda pushed into it considering it’s the entire patch.

They could have brought so many of us joy, instead they created a mode explicitly about everyone trying to make everyone else feel bad for losing and 59 out of 60 ending up that way.

That’s fair, but you also have to understand: we pay a monthly sub for this game.
People are 100% entitled to give proper criticisms and reactions to content updates, especially ones that were artificially hyped up like this one was from the team with their “it’s top secret, no PTR!!” advertisement for it.
Yes, some people are going to love it - and great! Glad they can enjoy it so much.
But just as many people are not going to like it, or are going to try to like it only to come away with distaste for how it’s done, or criticisms, or recommendations for how to improve it.
I think it’s a bit dismissive to say “yeah well I hated [ x ] content but didn’t whine about it and make threads crying about wasted dev time”. If you had genuine issues with the content, you were fully in your rights as a consumer who pays for this game monthly, to voice your reasons why you disliked it and what you’d wish they’d done differently or do in the future to improve it. It’s okay you chose not to, of course! But you were well within your rights to, even if others (such as myself) really enjoyed the content and didn’t find many issues with it.

Tried it today and wasn’t impressed. Hard to kill any boss when everyone else constantly tries to kill you. Won’t be going back. In a few days the thrill will be gone for most. PVP players will be in heaven until even they become bored.
