The content may suck (World of Warcraft Fortnite…) but at least the rewards look nice.

If I wanted to play Fornite I’d go play Fortnite. This is terrible.
I want to know who on Azeroth asked for a Battle Royale. This patch was supposed to be following “community feedback.”
And this is what they come up with? Lots of “how do you do fellow kids” energy here from Blizzard, trying to get on the Fornite train about ten years too late.
Blizzard is now a trend chaser not even a trend setter anymore.
You all implement a game mode that went stale 5+ years ago, despite the vast majority of your player base not wanting pvp crap.
I expected nothing and i was still disappointed.
Right?! The LAST thing I want is more forced PvP. They should offer a PvE option for the same rewards or colour reskinned versions of the same rewards in a PvE mode seeing as the majority of the player base is PvE, as is overwhelmingly evident by the logs and participation in each game mode.
you can have my share, please enjoy
Strange that WoW is originally a world pvp game and you think it’s mainly PvE?
They’re making a new BR game, slapped WoW assets on it, threw in some recolored shirts and said “test this for us, WoW players!”
Pretty cute that the other thread was deleted
Probably BOTS that Blizz seemingly doesn’t ban. Those count as players, right? They certainly count as revenue for the company.
I don’t want to make blizzard afraid to try something new, but this is pretty far out there.
Lol each event they put up is getting worse and worse.
I don’t PvP and never like it this his takes it so every PvP player going to kill those only pve easily. We will get in shot with no chance of winning
Good job blizzard.
How innovative of them then to regurgitate a 2017 model style game that’s been done 47 times.
They are cutting edge!
Huh, at least i don’t have to bother playing it.
Okay, so some thoughts.
I don’t hate the idea. I think it’s good for the dev team to try new things.
I don’t like the idea that I’d have to participate in multiple game modes to earn rewards in Warcraft. It’s fine if this is once or twice a year, but a fast cycling seasonal event in a completely different playstyle would completely drain me from playing.
If you do opt to make it a regular seasonal cycle, ALL rewards need to hit the trading post eventually, and I hope you make that clear. Or, alternatively, if you want them only rewarded for playing, the “seasons” or in this case renown tracks, MUST be evergreen. What does that look like? Well, in Among Us and Halo The Master Chief Collection, players can choose the “renown” track they want to earn towards. Allowing players to switch between reward tracks to hunt the cosmetics they want most. The game already has systems in place for renown tracks to coexist. So I see no reason to ever “retire” a renown track in this system.
I’ll admit it sounds fun. But I’ve already had to quit Overwatch 2, Fortnite, and others because I just can’t keep up with LTM rewards working 35-50 hours a week.
One thing that especially excites me is the prospect that this system could be used to update old Vanilla/Cata-era zones to the modern 2024 Blizzard quality.
I look forward to seeing where this goes. But Please remember to keep rewards evergreen and always obtainable.
Pirate Lives Matter as well, bunch of haters in this thread…
They say this and then delete the last thread lol
Then don’t comment. Forums are for cricism and discussion.
They just deleted my entire post, which already had quite a few replies on it…
Nothing says wow fans like crying on forums before even trying something.
