The thing is that people critical of this update aren’t attacking anything but the content with a few exceptions.
The people defending it are primarily attacking the character of the people being critical.

I love PvP. I’m rolling with full gladiator gear, and it accounts for a large portion of my gameplay. That said, if I wanted to play Fortnight, I would play that. I don’t want devs to work on creating gameplay that breaks the WOW rules or doesn’t feel like WOW or how you normally play.
I’m concerned that the new generation of developers (the two in the vid are definitely that) don’t understand that the complex gameplay of multiple abilities and buttons/actions is what makes WOW fun (for me at least). I’d play console or phone games if I wanted simplicity.
But hey, that’s just me.

Probably, but I doubt you could convince 60 people to do that willingly. Although, the article said matches are only 10-15 minutes so that’s pretty short.
Maybe you are just misunderstanding people. If you think you can truly gauge intent through text, you need to step away. I am cool with those that like the idea. I’m not going to stomp on anyone’s fun.
BUT, don’t lie to me and claim that the community asked for this. And don’t try to sell me scuffed fortnite and tell me it’s a wow game mode.

Naraka Bladepoint is doing pretty good on steam - Why can’t you play both? What do you have to do thats soooo important right now in any version of WoW - LOL what are you so busy doing right now other than complaining for no reason about how no one asked for this

The people insisting it isnt PVP because it doesn’t come from the PVP region in France are cracking me up.

They could of made the pirate hat have flowing hair like the KT heritage, but nooooo…why do they keep insisting on the hairless model. I dont care if it is the same hat but a different color, just give me the hair model.

I’m more concerned about that 7 Button Interface. That, in context with that terrible Action Targeting, smells a lot like some Console shenanigans. And WoW is not made for Consoles and should not be pressed into one.
I will look into the Event when it drops for us tomorrow. But I doubt I will like it since I absolutely hate PvP

If I want to play other games, I go play those games. When I play WoW, I want to play wow. It’s simple, right?
I find that question ironic, don’t you think? If there is nothing to do right now in wow, shouldn’t the focus be aligned with providing wow content instead of scuffed copies of other games?

That’s heresy, at this point.
I can guarantee you that it is not a recolor of the Kul Tiran heritage armor. For starters, this new transmog set looks like it has the lower half of the coat attached to the legs slot appearance instead of the full coat being on the chest slot appearance. The models and textures are completely different as well.
The Kul Tiran long coat will remain the only time they ever did a full coat appearance on the chest slot, probably because they still haven’t figured out a way to make a full long coat work on the chest slot for all playable races and likely don’t think it’s a big deal to just go the simpler route of simply splitting the coats between chest slot and legs slot.
I’d be very surprised if the new pirate transmog set actually goes the Kul Tiran Longcoat route, especially since the new transmog set is flat between upper and lower halves, meaning that the 3D part of the coat at the bottom is most likely attached to the legs slot appearance.

Dude they are trying to improve PvP in your game by using this as a test from the looks of things? I mean at least they didnt add ranked battle pet arena or something like that oof
