If you guys are bored with working on wow, maybe try another game. This is… like I don’t understand what this is.
Why tease this on the wow forums? Why not just come out and say it’s a separate game within the same general universe.
Honestly, I expected so little from this and it’s somehow worse than that.

It is a video game that has a MONTHLY subscription in order to not have a limited account, as well as expansion costs, and even a cash shop, not even going to mention Classic stuff. We deserve to have our way because of how absurd the cost of this game is alone. Also, if we don’t pay for the game, Blizz won’t make their big WoW bucks, and money is all they care about it.
It’s listen to player feedback, or no paycheck. This is every game company, but especially Blizzard.

According to the video, you do not use your own characters. You use a pirate crew member and it looks like there might be some customizations you can do.
But your character does get everything you unlock.

The PvE crowd likes to screech this but Blizzard seems to disagree we get our own balance changes we get new game modes and now we even get new events.

For this event, I am saying “thank you for the offer, but no thank you”. I can be displeased without breaking forum rules
