We haven’t had a major post-launch patch yet so we’re in a lull. This happens every time. New releases are just more of a reason for people to take a break at this point.
So anyways, there I was, in autopilot and zoning into dragonsoul. After killing the 3rd boss I said to myself. “Wait a minute? I’m done with this place, I shouldn’t be here.” And hearthed out.

One of the worst gaming experiences I’ve had in quite a long time was Bravely Default 2. I can’t believe it received such high ratings. I don’t trust SE anymore. Squaresoft was better.

I might be mistaken…but I think that they have been close to a 0 for the last couple of years. FF14 is really keeping the lights on over there.

I get flamed for saying this all the time, but the FF VII remake was atrocious. If not for Nier and remasters like Chrono Cross, I would’ve completely abandoned the company.
I mean they have properties that do well, think they still own Tomb Raider and a few other well known titles but yeah FF14 and pretty much other FF games keeps em going. The big meme being FF14 pays for their failure projects. Oh Forspoken flopped? Guess we can expect FF14 to get a new mount and costume on their online store.
Wierd. It is pretty clear from the financial reports that things are not going great for the company.

It was, idk why SE is set on turning all their RPGs into halfassed action games. You would think that they’d have learned from FF15 that holding down one button to attack is boring af.
