Can we get a Hognose Snake mount? It could be named Sir Hogsworth.

And it’s mount special could be throwing you off while it plays dead.

As cute as hognose snakes are (and they are very cute), isn’t the playing dead thing a sign that the snake is super terrified? I don’t wanna scare it!

Yeah, this is true. Hoggies either puff up or play dead in defense when they’re scared. They don’t like to bite much. Sweet little babies.

Maybe a periscope for the mount special?

I was actually gonna post a picture of Dunsparce, lol. Which is based off that mythical beast. That way it can be a flying mount!

Hognoses are the only one I could really think of that are cute enough and stout enough to be mount material. Though I think all snakes are cute, Hognoses just tend to be more readily accepted as cute by people who don’t typically find snakes as such.

Cobras are cute, but then, everything with big ears is cute.

…Except the new Dumbo. They stuck big blue eyes on an otherwise hyper-realistic elephant, and the thing gives me nightmares.

I think the Hognoses would be a nice choice. Believe I just watched a documentary on one not too long ago, and saw the little roll they do when feeling threatened [they let off a ‘death’ odor if I remember right too].

But anyway, I could see them appealing to both sides that would like both cute, and need that ‘oh look, I’m a big tough guy’ edge too. I’d love a snake mount. No fear of them at all, bring the slithery guys in. :snake:

Yeah they musk and stick their tongue out too!

I got a pet one I’ve had for 6 years, puffs up but never played dead. He’s got cancer though. :broken_heart: Love him to absolute pieces.

I’m sorry to hear that, can’t be easy. :frowning: I love snakes, but not as pets these days. I now move the little garden snakes from my yard to a nearby field, after watching a neighbor go nuts killing one.

No reason for that behavior, so I made it harder for him.
