Back in the day, Server and World Firsts were a real thing that had a bunch of prestige to it. People would plan months in advance for these things. I myself tried for server firsts in hitting level cap back then and never came close lol. I think closest I got was world 2nd Razorscale kill under a minute behind world first when Uld first dropped. But it was crazy that night. Tons of DCs, bosses unkillable so you couldn’t progress, etc. Those were fun times. And back then people actually cared who got the firsts. It was announced. It was talked about by almost anyone n everyone. Today’s retail has taken so much feels out of the game. Almost nothing means anything anymore. Back then everything had an impact. Small upgrades, a single level, a new mount, server firsts, being known for your professions, etc.
Yea, that meant a lot more when nearly the entire player base didn’t already know all the mechanics for every boss that exists before it’s released.

I’m shooting for “guild first male dwarf hunter female dwarf priest duo hogger kill.” I don’t set challenging goals for myself, but it’s important to have goals - ya know?
I will worry about Hogger once Princess is down. At least I do remember where she was at then.

Good call, gotta take out the bosses in order.
I’d be more interested in who gets the very first pvp kill. Blizzard should clip that and post it to the shame of the loser who dies first.
