Hmm... There seems to be a big spike in players questing in the Dragon Isles

Leveling, and enhanced boosted characters finishing up questlines or starting them for the first time.

The Blue Dragonflight questline has a lot of players as I’m going through them on my enhanced boosted character. I would have thought that I would be the only one there, since it has been out for a good while.

Between the hype from Blizzcon and a new patch tomorrow, there’s probably a decent amount of people coming back from breaks. I know I’ve seen a lot of old names I haven’t seen in a while around here the last week or so.

That’s true. The WoW segment at Blizzcon was far better than I had assumed it would have been. So many things they’re adding that I’ve been wanting for so long.

Pre purchasing War Within gives you DF so it makes sense there’d be a surge.

I don’t know for certain that it’s true, but I’ve seen it stated elsewhere on these forums that normal (non-dragonflight) flying will be available tomorrow…which I presume they mean ‘pathfinder’. The increase in player activity is likely to get the completed storylines, and faction reputations up to the needed minimums, to meet the pathfinder requirements.

If true, that means I have to go into the caverns to complete the ‘Embers’ storyline…
heavy sigh

Since they removed renown reqs, players should be flying old style by the end of the day (those who have the other stuff done at least).

Regular flying is bringing me back. I haven’t played in several months but I’m going to level the rest of my alts once they can fly old school.
