If you aren’t running with the same group in all content, though, how feasible is it to expect everyone to re-link prior to doing other content? My understanding is you’re only linked to the most recent group you did it on.

So they’re spoiled for trying to do something cool? Blizzard is deserving of plenty of criticism feom the community, but i personally don’t feel this issue is one of them.
So you’re perfectly fine with then giving something and when the community is really happy with it they take it away knowing people will be upset? Am I understanding you correctly? Especially when morale and support of the game is the lowest it has ever been in the history of Blizzard?

Firstly, the OP was proposing a compromise to how the mount is intended to work. I may not agree with their view but they’re free to voice it. Just as i am free to state my opinion on the matter.
As for your question, what exactly are they taking away from you? Blizz clarified how it worked. Perhaps I missed an update but i haven’t seen any mention of fixes on MMO-Champ or Wowhead concerning how the mount operates in game.

If you have all four monocles and after redoing all of the puzzles, again. It is a problem and shouldn’t be that difficult. A compromise would be a toy you could use to attune to with a long cooldown.
I’m hardly upset over it. I’d like to have a discussion about a fair compromise.

Tbo, if the main gripe is unfairness in mythic plus, then the answer is simple. Make it not useable as a group mount in mythic plus.

So as I see this, Blizzard made their first 5 seater and flying mount. Thats awesome. As far as I can see I dont understand why they even decided to mess with a speed buff. Its exactly because of that speed buff that its an issue. Either block the buff in the content youre so scared it will be abused in or remove it entirely.
I cant even use the multiseater function on alts or even other characters. The restrictions make no sense are are seemingly a response to their own design faults.

Here’s how I would have designed it:
- You can use it with anyone but the speed buff would not exist.
- You can use it in dungeons and PVE settings - NO PVP areas including Warmode.
- If you wanted to use it in PVP-settings you would have to lock yourself to 4 other peopleas it is now but you cannot mount anyone but them.
I honestly think the ability to carry the 5 people you linked with is benefit enough. I don’t see this mount being allowed to be super speedy in rated battlegrounds or even in regular battlegrounds for very long to be honest. I mean, they killed the cheetah movement speed buff on the chopper and the passenger mounts (though that was an actual bug.). I don’t have an issue with it being bound to only people who did the puzzle. I saw all the steps online to do it and chose to forgo it.
Visually speaking and from a time consumption point, I don’t really care for the mount lol. But if people want to spend that time doing it so they can be the ginyu force in a flying jelly fish, more power to that group lol.
I’m sure this was mentioned before but currently it’s character specific. So if you and the other 4 people you got the mount with all create alts, you can’t join each other’s Hivemind. Its specific to the characters (not accounts) that completed the puzzle.
No idea if this is a bug.

I don’t disagree with you at all, however if they removed the speed buff, what’s the point in requiring 5 players to unlock it?
DON’T CARE ABOUT SPEED BOOST BUFF!!! JUST MAKE IT A 5 SEATER FLYER USEABLE WITH ANYONE SIMPLE!!! not a hard concept THEN MAKE A STORE MOUNT WITH SAME THING ILL BUY IT BLIZZARD yet again not a hard concept [5 Seat Tandems Bikes] > Google it. This is just like > “you all have cell phones don’t you?” yet again listen to customer and fans not a hard concept feel really bad for poor man you put on that stage at blizzcon I really do! Really just need be simple if you get a hivemind unlocked you join with other people who Unlocked it simple takes 5 Exclusive people out of it and remove speed buff! >>>>5 seats usable with anyone and flying was enough!<<<< yet again not a hard concept

I’m chill. I just wanted to bring up some options for Blizzard to consider.
FYI Blizzard! I’m going to Keep Posting until its made a 5 person flying mount mountable by anyone and to my Fellow Gamers who give a damn about WoW I Encourage Rest of you make part daily making a daily routine POST! AND DON’T STOP!!! UNTIL THEY HEAR US!!!
