Hi. So my partner and i leveled some alts thru pandara and he hit 50 before me and got booted right to Org before i could hit 50. Thats not so fun.
honestly i think chromie should just pop up and be like “uwu champion please make haste to [insert faction capital] its URGENT!” and just leave at that.
To be fair though your friend and you knew what you were going into when you did Chromie time and knew that this was going to happen…

You have had to be level 50 before and complete various activites in order to gain access to Chromie time. Your friend here knows more than you think.
I’d say maybe trip the boot if you achieve 60 ilvl or so, which you probably won’t hit while questing with a friend.
It’s what cromie time does. We all know it by now. If you want to keep going turn off xp at 49.5.
And you are way weaker than a BFA leveled character right now.

It’s a dumb system, but there is a way around it as Warpstone said. Not sure if they’ve made it explicit in the game for people who don’t frequent forums or sites like wowhead, though. Should have a warning pop up at lv 49 for people who want to finish out the expansion they’re in.

PSA: if you and your noob friend level thru pandaland. DO NOT let them do the quests to get the farm. they WILL out level you and be confused

I didn’t mind tbh. But…its where I wanted to be. But thats me lol…others mileage will vary.
this isn’t even the worst part. having leveled a 50 in BFA and WoD chromie timed…I’d recommend BFA.
Pains me to say that, and odd given my gripes on record on here. 50 jump to BFA gives you nothing. Not even the forein land ports. You earn all the start ones. The map off vendor doesn’t do the start ones. a straight BFA run you hammer these all out and done at 50.
If like me you plan on chiseling out some BFA stuff (I WILL get that dolly and dot toy…one day, hopefully…please???) some of these start points are nicely located.
