Will spell hit gems be available in phase 1? they werent introduced until patch 2.1 with BT i dont think. but currently on Wowhead they show them as available in Phase 1. Anyone know for sure?
Pretty sure spell hit gems were in from launch, don’t quote me on that though.
I know yellow normal hit gems were.
Until June first and people see what is live not one person here can give you the answer you want other than a blue. As no one knows “for sure” a beta and ptr as always subject to change.
The wowhead page saying phase one means people seen it there on the beta or ptr as such it’s the best info you can go by. No one will give you a for sure answer as highly doubt a blue will pop in.
I know for sure they are available on Beta (whatever that tells you).

yeah i shouldnt have said “for sure” i guess. i more just meant does anyone have any info that would lead you to believe they will be available on launch. such as frosto saying they are available currently on beta.
obviously i understand that, as mentioned, that doesnt necessarily mean they will be available. but as i dont have access to beta, and hadnt heard anywhere if they were in beta yet, i was interested to know info people had. Thanks yall

I have been prepping my toons for this. Some thought my strange obsessed hit gear bogarting was strange. Soooon they will understand the length I went for TBC,
If you’re playing deep combat you really don’t need that much.
More than 17% after debuffs/talents etc is really overkill.
If I’d been rolling a rogue I’d have been hunting down a solid offhand as a main priority.
early levels, yes total overkill but as you level swap in more hit items to maintain a decent hit value.
This is really suspicious. I was in a top tier raid guild in TBC and I remember practically all hit gems early on.
And yes I was swords combat.
It’s abotu stat weights, You get more from AP,AGI and crit after 17% than stacking more hit. I tested it a few raid nights with full 24% hit gear and I dropped a heap of dps.
