Hit boxes and melee range

I think most melee classes had their range extending talents removed and this has made melee absurdly annoying to play for a few reasons.

  • Inconsistent hit boxes. Especially on larger mobs. Some mobs you can be well outside their ground circle, and some you have to be significantly inside the mob.
  • Extremely fluid encounters with a lot of movement. Having to be so close increases the chance that when mobs move it’s going to be behind you or too far away.
  • Too many area denial ground AOE’s.

Short melee ranges just don’t work with the encounter design we now have.

It just makes the game play in a very annoying way for melee.

On top of all that, the feral model make you have to seem even closer!
