Hey guys. I have a unique problem! I hit a wall with the game! I have removed it from my computer a few times. But I’m trying to give it another go.
It’s like this guys. I need some ideas on how to have more fun! I been playing the game sinc tbc era and I think I’ve burn out. I need some suggestions to have to have more fun!
I have even started a few guilds and open them to the public to try to surround myself with like minded players. So here is what I started doing I play a LOT of not META specs. (For example my lovely Affliction Locks) heheh. That has really spiced stuff up for me.
ALSO I can recommend you guys try addons like Titan Panel and Storyline. Both great addons. So here is what I need from you doods. I need advice on how to have more fun in game! Any suggestions will do. I Just have been playing for many years now and I think I hit a wall! What do you guys do to have more fun? Any suggestions/ideas will help me out a long way. ALSO my guilds are recruiting! I’m on Aegwynn, Cenarius, Zuljin and Eonar. Lots of servers n one Alliance guild. So yeah guys let me know what you guys do for more fun in game! I need help here!

Ways that I have spiced it up →
- Find a discord server for PUGs rather than the in group finder (I’ve found a consistent group that way that has completely changed the game for me in a positive light).
- Hop to a different server - especially a RP server - and try to get toons up there in a guild. Playing on moon guard was / is a blast.
- Play WoW Classic <.< Honestly I didn’t know I got classic, wotlk classic, and retail with one sub. When I need a break from retail I log into classic and its a blast.
- Try new specs / roles (sounds like you do this with Affliction - I really need to try that one day!) My next spec I plan to give a go is Aug Evoker…one day.
- Do old world content / raids. I love just vibing solo in old raids.

Sometimes burn out happens. And that’s okay. I log in once in a while, do some small bursts of content. But at the moment, I’m playing a lot of single player games. Got Fate/Samurai Remnant recently. Considering Baulder’s Gate 3, Seen a lot of great stuff about it. Point is. Don’t force yourself to play. Take a breather. Come back when you feel that drive again.
Try different content, doing the same thing for years gets old
It’s gonna be weird when you first start, but I can’t recommend roleplaying enough to breathe new life into this 20 year old home for gamer dads/moms.

Yeah guys! I’m trying really hard!
I play a lot of other games too on Steam. Its quite a good change of pace. Also guys I can recommend not meta specs for sure! You guys should try that too. Thanks for the help all you guys are the best!
Always best to do what you find fun in a game. No matter if it’s meta or not. Hope you have a good one!
Unsub until the next expansion. But keep an eye on the game and keep reading thr forums. Let the itch of desire burn inside you (not the same burning or itching you get from those Thailand dates).
Come back with a passion for the game and it’ll feel fun and exciting again.
But seriously. Take some breaks. I usually have 1-2 seasons taken off per expansion. Keeps the burnout from creeping up like a cheap pair of underwear
Yeah I’ve been doing good guys.
The wall started to happen recently.
But I think I can move past it! You guys are legit the best thanks so much guys I appreciate all the help here.
I’m just a wow like addict thats been playing since tbc. I had a previous account I had to restart. (Long story) I think the fresh start helped a lot.
But yeah guys stay safe and make sure you guys are always having fun!

I suggest this a lot, but I always have a lot of fun playing older expansions. I’m playing Legion right now and am trying to various achievements, profession progression, mounts, and others while being level locked at 45. I try to do all the questlines as well.
Calph-I’m gonna try some of that in my own level routes.
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll do that in my own runs. I think a large part of my issue is I’ve developed a small attention problem. So I’m gonna try one of those questing addons to help.
I’ll let you guys know how it goes. Thanks all who offered ideas/suggestions! I’m gonna try the rp server thing next too!
Going back to old expansions to collect mounts/pets/toys I missed the first time around
Run old raids to get transmogs and other things I missed when they were current
Make a character that only does PvP and nothing else. Warmode permanently on, you must attack the other faction no matter what in the open world. You can level entirely with battlegrounds and be honor capped long before 70.
Pick an expansion you really like and try to do every single quest possible there. I’ve done this by using Chromie Time, and turning off my experience at level 58 so I stay there.

Hey buddy!
@Gnasha thanks for the tips dood. All though I like world pvp i had a number of bad experiences in organized groups like that. I’ll try (N have tried world pvp as a level option! It’s pretty good bro.
I wholeheartedly recommend if questing is getting OLD for you guys. What also really helps me is the questing addons that automate quests for you. They make stuff so much faster!
Also guys I can recommend not meta specs a lot here. I stand by this heheh. I think playing to the meta (with a few exceptions I love subtle rogue) is hurting the game but I digress. You guys should ALL play how you guys want to nobody is paying your game time/sub fee.
But yeah guys thanks so much to you guys for the suggestions! Make sure you guys are all having fun and keep staying safe yall!

A pivot from what you are currently doing can always feel refreshing.
I was PvPing quite a bit, but as that begins to grate at me I turned away from it a little and started hunting down other things I would like or always wanted to try.
Last weekend I went on a little grind bender and got some stuff I had my eye on. I’m working on another mount right now and once I have that I’ll try for another mount and some mogs I like.
The game offers a lot of options for entertainment. Sometimes we need to create new comfort zones for a while to make things feel fresh.
@Sun-Fellow lover of Undead I see!
Yeah buddy I agree. PVP, world PVP that is can be kinda cool. I’ve had very negative experiences with groups in this game. Grouping as a whole is not for me!
But yeah bro THANKS for the advice. I’m gonna try some of those suggestions.
You guys all rock thanks for the help its been aiding me with the wall I hit. I’ll take some of yalls suggestions into my own gameplay.
ALSO GUYS! Don’t forget pet battles I literally level to max doing pet battles over n over. (Yeah I am OCD like this) so yeah guys make sure you guys are having fun with the game too! dont hit a wall like i did!
