The title under Bolvar’s name in Shadowlands is “Highlord of the Ebon Blade” instead of “The Lich King” so it seems so, yes.

Died with the hat.
I guess Sylvanas got her justice after all. In an entirely unsatisfying manner, after an ocean of unjustified murder, dragging both factions through a wood chipper, arguably killing more people than Arthas managed, and tearing open a hole in the sky.
Part of me wants to see Arthas back just so her initial arc can get a proper ending, with her taking him out, before we end her.

I can be very forward thinking, as well as hold a deep grudge. Something Sylvanas also seems to be capable of.
If I put myself in her very uncomfortable yet capable shoes, even for a moment…
Sylvanas:
“Arthas was the prideful and petty spawn of a noble and powerful house. A dime a dozen. He simply needed to be guided to his extreme and further empowered. He is to blame for being a literal tool. But any other brat in his place would likely have done the same. He has his share of blame. But it does not end there.”
“The Lich King? An amalgamation of similar petty trash in high places who took the opportunity. The removal and destruction of that crown is a stepping stone. But it does not end there.”
“Where did the crown come from? Who made it? Why? How did it come to Azeroth? What is the root of all my troubles? That is where my ire is directed.”
Even Malganis is just a step in all that. She has the knowledge and means to get her own vengeance. I can dig that.
Arthas, the Lich King, and even Malganis are but pawns in a greater game.

The Lich King, as it stands, is a defunct title. It could be argued that it either died with the Helm, or it died when Bolvar took on the mantle. Largely, Bolvar occupied the seat solely to ensure that there was a stopper on the Scourge - he was not so much a commander of the Scourge as a force on Azeroth as much as he was the one keeping them contained to one location. But now for sure, the history of the Lich King is at a close.
Also don’t link WoWWiki pages. WoWWiki is an almost entirely abandoned website that hasn’t gotten any real love or care since early Pandaria. Use Wowpedia.

nerzhul did nothing wrong
He screwed up when choosing Arthas.
I wager that the crown will have to be remade in some form to re-establish the balance between the underworld that is Shadowlands and Azeroth as allowing the previous dead to return to Azeroth constantly would create a myriad of problematic wars and conflicts of interest.
Whatever happens it is my hope that Bolvar is killed off in some graphic way for the pathetic defence of his throne.
