In Patch 1.5 Searing Gorge and Hinterlands quests were expanded upon.
What do you guys think about getting these on launch? Would it hurt the game or improve it?

It’d be alright. Wouldn’t make a huge difference.
If they’re in you just have to grind less
It doesn’t hurt anything to have them in. It makes the leveling grind a bit easier which you will be thankful for around 45ish.
I think they added a badly missing gap in the leveling process for people that wanted to follow a quest line of leveling and as others have said removes the a small part of having to grind out some.
We’re getting DM at launch and most likely all the 1.10 dungeon gear. I really don’t think a few more quests in leveling zones crosses any lines.
I would be okay with more landscape quests, especially if they are the ones I am thinking of that are fun to group for, like the troll area up the mountainside in Hinter?
I HIGHLY doubt that as it vastly overshadows a massive amount of gear from raids.
Curious, what makes you say that 1.10 dungeon gear would be added?
Won’t make much of a difference, but we’re getting 1.12 so anything prior is coming in to the game unless it was something removed.
I remember searing gorge used to require a key, I never figured out how to get it. There was also a lot more quests back then, even before the Cata revamp, they removed some of them in Wrath.
I think it would improve it.
Having less quests to just mindlessly grind even more is not the better choice, IMO. Would rather quest.
DM was always at launch though, now if you meant DIre Maul, it was in at launch for EU, also just because things are listed in a content bucket does not mean that all those things would be released at once.
Players began calling that VC meaning VanCleef for that exact reason lol.
nope, not many really did, DM was Deadmines from before launch, there is an actual thread on this that covers it pretty well.
Never had any issues on my launch server with it:O)
Never had any issues ever because the people seeking Deadmines are usually MUCH lower than the level of players seeking a group for Dire Maul lol.
then there is that too:O) its an old school argument that is 100% meaningless, much like Less filling and tastes great:O)
There is a way to get into Searing Gorge without it.
lol yeah and what crazy person doesn’t specify which wing of Dire Maul they are running?
I think for the first iteration of classic servers just have it all in. We have already established classic will be like 1.12 of vanilla, with later content tiers locked away. They took the same route as private servers and are not trying to replicate early vanilla systems, only the content.
Wouldn’t these quests BE content though?
I guess you would have to clarify they are locking away raid content.
Hmmm. This is a question for a Q&A for sure!
