can anyone confirm that the battered hilt can be farmed (solo) after obtaining it on the same character?
Complete the quest and it will quit dropping.
Sell or delete if you dont want to do that.
And Edit: you can also make a good amount of side gold by getting them back to back and then selling them in the AH. Lots of people like doing the quest. Even those who it does not benefit. Sell it in the AH.
Makes sense too… it’s still a rare drop and if you don’t remove the item drop chance from the people who already have it.
You can farm it. Its a low drop rate, like extremely low. It wont stop dropping, but your chances of seeing it several times is pretty low. But its BoE so you can loot it as many times as it drops for you, you just cant do the quest chain more than once. I cant find anything on it being removed from the loot table if you already have it and I know people that have had it drop for them even though they already had the weapon.
Its like a 1% drop chance so you have to weigh your time vs the reward. Its really not there to be honest.
