Just cant do it as a level 58.
I remember this was punishing before the level squish. In fact, almost all of assorted allied race unlocks and the heritage armor quests are pure punishment at the âsuggestedâ level.
I recall that, during BFA, for the Highmountain Tauren, only my ret paladin alt in full raid gear survived to the end of the quest chain alive and even then it was no cake walk, burning through shields and spamming Word of Glory as often as I had the ability to do it. It was always horrifically overtuned and probably always will be.

How the hell do you not fix something so pivotal such as the quest to unlock a allied race? I remember not being able to do this in May and I was hoping by now it would be fixed but I guess the small indie company canât afford to do soâŚ

Iâm level 70 and I STILL canât get past a certain quest without getting unalived. Absolutely bogus.
How is it that a quest that has game content gated behind it is still this badly broken after nearly a year of being a problem? Has anyone even acknowledged that itâs going to be looked at eventually?

I can confirm I was unable to complete the quest chain with my level 40 Warlock Tauren due to the scaling and 1hp as mentioned above. However, jumped on my 80 Blood Elf Priest, picked up the quest in Org, and completed it. The scaling and dropping down to 1hp did not happen at all.
