Hi all,
Is there any way that I am able to turn off the automatic highlighting of another player/NPC when I mouse over them. This might be an easy fix but I have been searching for ages on how to turn this off.

EDIT: My links don’t seem to be working but the highlighting of the character is referring to a big purple bolded line around the outside of each NPC or Player. Just wondering if there is an option to turn this off.
So like, you want to JUST turn the highlight off while still retaining the rest of the functionality of mousing over? I’m not aware of a way to do that, at least not without an addon… which I’ve also never heard of that can do this.
It’s such an odd request though, I have to ask why?
It’s called Outline Mode. You can get to it from Interface menu and it’s under display.
Is there a way to post screenshots of my game interface? The normal mouse over is fine but the bolding of NPCs and Players when I mouse over that has been something that I have never experienced in previous expansions which is why I think that this feature could potentially be turned off in Shadowlands.
