I’m wondering if mid to high 20% is possible without buffs. I’m gonna be trying to stack nothing but Vers/Mastery. What’s the highest % you’ve seen or heard of recently? If RNGesus loves me, could I get to Chad levels of Vers?
Flark has right around 20% verse on his frost dk, that’s probably the highest I’ve seen

only 21% here but he has 2 int trinkets on
with 2 static vers trinkets it’d prob be something like 25% or 26%
his gloves also dont have vers or a socket so if they did + the 2 trinkets prob 28%

has like 18% missing ring (3%) and 2 trinkets (2% each) and boots/1dagger (1% each) so theoretically in a perfect situation it’d have like 27%
i think 15% ish is pretty average without insane sockets though
I have 26% verse in a set, with ver navigation can get like 32% 436ilvl
Rmpal still slices thru me like butter with that and conflict/strife

This guy has almost 26% vers with Rank 4 vision minor (giving you that extra 90 vers) sitting around ~2200 vers
With conflict and strife/vers navigation procs it goes up to like ~35% ish i think.
Also for sh*ts and giggles i did the world quest that gives you 1000 stats and got vers and decided to go for the omega chad levels of vers in wPVP.

I have 22% Vers now on paper doll but normally I’m running Big stat trinket over safeguard (I ended on a RM match last queue) that leaves me at 25%.
I could also finish my last king mech run and snag the 60~ Vers rank 3 essence gives and be at 26%. Adding main slot Conflict and Strife, and putting Vers enchant back on weapon could probably yield results up to 40% when its fully proc’d but I would still be a squishy Ret, OmegaLUL

Its crazy to think 40% damage redux during stuns still aint enough
28% vers here, when I get my main staff and wrist/hands and upgrade my socketed vers cloak ill prob be close to 32%

Versatility only gives half the value of damage reduction as it gives in damage/healing increase. So if you have 20% Versatility, you would only have 10% damage reduction.
So when you are stunned, and the latter is doubled, you would only be going up to 20% damage reduction. Not 40%.

I sit at 27% paper doll versatility with my correct trinkets on.
With 8 stacks of conflict and strife plus versatility navigation proc from weapon I sit at exactly 40% vers.
When I run full pve (4% or less vers) and a team swaps to me, it’s very noticeable.
I’m currently 29.15% vers static in arena
34.15% with full strife procs
Still die to 1800 rmpalla players who dr their own kidneys

I have potato gear but managed to hit 22% vers
I saw a war with 32% unbuffed vers. Fully self buffed he was like 45% with C and S essence.
With all that and def stance it still wasn’t enough for him to live though mage or lock nukes.
Tbh easiest way to figure this out is just finding the most pieces with vers>your other preferred secondary
Then just assume it was like 455 ilvl and socketed (weapon can be excluded here, not always weps with those stats but also because they can’t titanforge)
Do same with vers proc/on use versa trinkets
Get the total number of vers and then divide it by how ever much vers you need for a 1% increase and there u go pmuch

I’ve seen 30%, my lock is at 25% with essence and weapon procs I can hit 45% vers at times.
I’m starting to think sacrificing HP for full on verse isn’t efficient
I’m bad at math so idk how much health is worth 1%
but even at 25% verse I drop like 8 item levels for 12.5% mitigation outside of stuns
And while flat damage might be higher there’s something to be said losing loads of crit and haste.
Each expac gearing gets more confusing for me, bags full of gear, 5 full sets with different stat allocations someone send help

I can get to 23% vers with double trinkets. But normally I am sitting at 21%
