I’m at 18 without exploiting, alt to 10 first. human, dmf buff, farmed seeds for like 12-15 hours between work this week. did every world quests with contract.
I gave up on that early as well. The most annoying and long drawn out rep in DF. I hate the zone too.
I got to R7 with about 1900 exp towards 8
Yeah the DW rep being soft-gated is absolute cringe and for no reason punished everyone who didn’t abuse the exploits/bugs and/or doesn’t roll a human alt to abuse the highest value non-combat passive in the entire game by a significant margin.
They absolutely did not need to gut farmable seed rep as hard as they did after the pandoras box was already opened and so many people got to absurd first week Renown levels in the first 2 days or they should’ve rolled back everyone with obviously unintended renown levels but ofc they don’t have the balls to do that
Like they could’ve just taken 5 seconds to set up an automated system to drop anyone wth max renown week 1 down 5 renown levels and there is a 0.000% chance anyone who didn’t abuse unintended bugs/exploits would’ve gotten hit
I got 15 on a third alt. Ground out 10 on another before that. Holding my tokens on my main.
This still seems high for the average player. But what do I know? Nothing, I guess. I only made it to Renown 8 and I squeezed that out doing literally every single thing available.

For sure, I only counted emerald dream WQs.
Maybe you missed something? My post above lists “everything” and it gets you renown 9 if you don’t have a buff

14 is not a natural no degen level of play.
Getting to maybe 10 would be.
Highest you should be is i believe 8 maybe 9 if you got lucky with superbloomed rep off the seeds and even then its unlikely
Edit: i mean if you farmed a ton of seeds at 5 rep you might get to 10 but thats a LOT of work
a bunch of repliers in here are 15ish without exploiting. After posting I remembered that I hadn’t done the 6 supply thingy turn ins and hit 15 from those.
I followed the Campign quests to completion; did every single side quest (which is where it seemed the bulk of the commendations/rep tokens came from), did every single WQ that was up on the days I played. And I played a lot this week to try to do the whole Renown grind to 10 BS for your main to get the buff. I also killed every rare that popped when I was playing. Not to mention the superblooms and planting blossoms.
I more or less forgot about DMF and didn’t do this on a human. I got to R8.
I’d say there wasn’t anything I could have missed, except sleep and sanity to no-life my way 24/7 to get the renown.

Oh wait right I have those but never got around to doing them as I didn’t even know they give rep. How much rep do you get from them and are they weekly or a 1-time thing?
the pvp quest and the 7 treasures then! but yeah without human/DMF you still wouldn’t get to 10
I think 500 total, no clue if it’s weekly or 1-time
Getting to 10 is already a stretch if you aren’t human with darkmoon fair bonus. Getting more than 10 normally means that you leveled an alt to 10 before your main so even more degen. Anything over 16 is pretty hardcore degen or is someone that bug abused.
This character is renown 14. About halfway through.
My main, which I pushed through first is renown 10.
Was going to farm seeds to 15 but it was putting me to sleep.
I did not/do not exploit. My account is still open to play

I got my hunter alt to 10 by doing every quest, finding all the treasures, killing rares, and then farming seeds for the rest. My main is currently renown 7 with about 12k worth of rep in tokens sitting in his bag waiting for the 19% buff on Thursday. Debating if i want to stay logged out until then, cuz i have 30ish minutes remaining on my DMF buff, but i’m probably gonna log on after work to do some M+ with the guildies…

Helm/Gloves which are useful if you’re a dumb shaman with dumb shaman tier set that I’m happily throwing out the window.

I got into Renown 9 (just barely) on my main with no exploiting at all, doing all of the quest lines and existing content as well as all of the world quests.
I neglected to get the DMF buff so it’s without that, and also without one of the (very expensive) rep contracts.
