Higher Seal

Idk why blizzard caps the seal at 7. Another dumb mistake.
If people want it to be harder just put on a lower seal. In Wrath you could do this for Heroic LK.
Majority of people want it to be more free. 100% of SOD players couldnt even do 1 Mythic boss in retail. No good players play SOD anymore. All the top guilds quit ages ago. You only have dad guilds at this point and we dont want to spend more than 2-3 hours in raid. Give the higher seal and let people who want it harder lower their seals down.

It might be finally time to call it quits. Too many dumb decisions in SOD. Should have stopped when AQ was a bust.

I’m in a boomer dad casual guild as one would say. I feel if my group is easily able to clear it on seal 7 then you guys should have no problems. We run with 24 players because the flex system allows us to bring all our friends since we need the little extra help. You should try that. Sad to see you leave sod I personally think it’s a good if not the best version of the game so far. Keep ur head high. I hear anniversary is quite easy and enjoyable.

The amount of raids/teams/guilds that finally cleared 4/4 Crystals in Naxx gave them all the reasons to cut the Seal rank there.
As always, if you can’t beat it now… welcome to progression.
Learn why you can’t beat a boss and start working some angles to improve.

Agreed. This is a seasonal version of WoW. The content is rushed(which is fine). But let us blast! Let us have fun. I feel like this version of WoW is more for the millenial-gamers returning to classic WoW(with a twist). I’m not looking to smash my head into my keyboard trying to learn SoD mechanics.

Blizzard never really stated who the server was for, however the hard mode kinda indicates to me it’s more for the same player base as SoM. However I am in a super casual dad guild and we are blasting hm4 with 0 issues at this point. I believe all casuals can do the same. I feel a “avoid x player” or “don’t stand here” mechanics are completely fine for SoD. They arnt to stressful or change the fights really at all.

It’s all the same gear no matter what mode. Just a little slower. Give the people who want to be sweatier at least a morsel of incentive. If you want the mount just run with over 20 or do some progression.

you are running 24 raiders. on top of that, you are NOT in a boomer/dad guild. far from it. you are in an above average raid to even be full clearing HM4 at this point and the main reason you are even able to do it is that you spend 2.8 hours in naxx. stop being ridiculous

I really dont understand your statement. Seal 7 is fine. At that rank the content is very easy. Seal 8 would have been simply brainless and pointless to the point many would have quit after the week.

I think most people are fine with the cap at 7. There are options to water down content beyond that (20-40 raid size).

At this point everyone can experience all of the content in Naxx at rank 7. That’s the #1 thing.

Time to switch over to the build up to Phase 8 and put a bow on a solid Phase 7.

You know you can remove hard modes and blast through the instance if you want?

7 is more than fine, with 8/8 sanctified this is the same difficulty as WOTLK Naxx.

Don’t tell them that. They’ll come up with every excuse under the sun before taking such advice to heart.

Stomping the raid is the opposite of fun.

It’s more instant gratification that passes away in t-minus 5 minutes because these people don’t appreciate that challenge is what makes the fun. They’ll then complain about there being nothing to do.

this is just blatantly false

I am in a boomer dad guild. Was deemed so in other threads. By the same individual who made this post as well. This is also I need the same difficulty as wotlk naxx. I have the ability to claim I am a casual players and in a hyper casual guild. If my guild can clear everyone can. Seal cap at 7 is completely fine. Flex size exists for a reason. We are casual so we bring more than 20

Anyone running in the 40 mythic bracket is not a HC or high level group. If you cant beat it with 20 you are definitely a avg player group compared to all of wow.

Thats why you need to bring more people because you arent good enough to beat it with 20

Exactly my point. So because my casual dad group is able to complete run though hm4 no problem then the seal is tuned just fine for casual guilds like mine.

You have no legs to stand on to comment on tuning for 20m if you don’t even do it, and no taking more players doesn’t automatically make you casual. Plenty of guilds just keep an extra 1-2 on the roster because it’s easier to manage absences.

Enough said. /thread etc

I can guarantee I wiped more in Naxx in WOTLK classic that this version in HM4. Then again, doing it with 24 instead of 20 makes a big difference.
