High World MS

Returning player for MoP Remix. When I first log in i am sitting at 33-50 ms world and home. Within 5 minutes I am pushing 500 to 1000 ms on world and 200-400 ms on home. Flushed DNS, reset ip and still having issues. Replaced the router today with an new one, reset cable modem. Speedtest shows 900 download and 300 upload hardwired with cat6 to router and cat6 from modem to router, yet having the same problem. Deleted battlenet and wow. Reinstalled fresh. Deleted all addons and all addon updating programs. Trying to figure if it is a sever side issue or a pc issue. PC is 1 year old and well beyond the minimum specs. (11k intel, 2070 ti, 64 gb ram. All drivers are updated and no background prgrams running. I need some help on what to try next

Been having the same issue a few days now myself, seems to happen anytime I load into instanced content or switch characters, there is quite a few recent threads mentioning the same thing so don’t think its anything on our end.

same, high latency, it was fine while i was doing a key, then just before going to the last part of the dungeon i started getting high latency, unplayable to me, we missed the timer because of that, my fault. At least the other players got last boss and gave me credit for it, too bad we missed the timer for a few seconds even when i was dcing and getting bad lag.

Same! It started after droping this pandaria remix, I can play with good latency and after 5-10-15 min I get this latency spikes… I made all of this stuff with reinstall, drivers, dns, reseting ui etc. Maybe it is time to take a break and unsubscribe, tech support saying is all g. Yeah I see.

Did you run any network tests from your computer to the Chicago server (area52)? Or whichever server you’re trying to play on

I did - share.pingplotter(dot)com/9x66FVFrr7o.png

The high latency in your tests begins on the retn.net nodes, which are peering nodes your ISP uses. You would need to work with them to get the situation resolved.

Hi! You mean US retn net one? I pinging from Ukraine so I think it is good latency for this situation, no? When I said about high latency ingame it was 350-750 ms while pingplotter shows stable 120-140…

I see. Well, if the latency in game doesn’t match the network test, then something interacting with the game client would be the cause of high latency. Sometimes out of date addons or remnants of them can cause this.

I reset everything, reinstall clear wow, drivers etc. - nothing. But as I see in another topics it is looks like a global problem not only me affected. Maybe the blizzard specialists should pay attention to this and check something… Also I alredy contacted with my ISP, they check something and told me that it is no problems at my end…
