Cannot explain this, was fine for two weeks then the last two days I can’t do anything in a group. I hit world ms as high as 8k. I’m a full 15 to 20 seconds behind the game in raids, dungeons, BG’s, etc.

I hope this is resolved soon as I am having the same issues in all forms of rated content (shuffle / arena ) you load into the lobby and instantly see a 6-8k world ms, making the game instantly unplayable, yet home ms sitting at 15ms
I only play the game to enjoy rated pvp too

World=Your character server ping
It sounds like you’re connected to your local OCE home and that you’re also on a US shard with your character. If you’re having ping spikes that high, there’s likely something happening with the routing. OCE → US connections go through something like 5000 miles of underwater cables and there aren’t many of them. From there, there’s all kinds of other hops to reach the WoW servers. Some node in that path is bogging down.

Ooh, this is a good way to explain this; I’m borrowing for future threads. I enjoy people telling me they get under 100ms from OCE to Las Vegas. I think the problem comes from the ping display in WoW being a 5-minute average.
