High Queue Times? (PVP Horde)

Anyone else having this issue? I play on Terenas and have tried on other different realms that have high population with cross realm. No matter the time of day it is, the queue time average is ALWAYS 8 minutes, but always goes up closer to around 15 minutes to find a game. When I play as a mercenary, the queue time average goes to about 4-5 minutes and usually takes no more than 10 minutes.

Is there an issue with this? Was it a mistake going horde for PVP? Or am I just not choosing a “good” realm for PVP?

THere’s not enough people doing BGs.

My man, horde have had twice as long queue times as alliance since faction change become a thing.

Horde have more people wanting to PVP, therefor the queue is longer.
Your server is irrelevant.

This is always a thing? I’m new to playing as the horde since I’ve always been ally. I didn’t think it was like that

It has been like that for a couple of years now, as you have far more people looking to do them then the Alliance does. Check and see the “merc mode” is enabled for you?

Are people doing more PVE content?

nearly 2/3 of the wow population is horde
google: wow faction breakdown and check the wow analytica link

So the realm I play on doesnt really matter then? Since people of multiple realms will be joining to play anyways? Seems like no matter how I look at it, playing horde will have longer times then

I wouldn’t say it was a mistake to go Horde for PvP because you have the option of queuing as Alliance through mercenary mode; the last time Alliance players had access to mercenary mode was probably in WoD.

The tradeoff is, I believe Horde used to get the Alliance enlistment bonus when in mercenary mode but not anymore
