I find this problem to be more than “random”, but when the average wait time is 21-22 min and I’ve been in the queue for 55 min, there is no way that’s average. Even for a few people, that would throw that average way off (increasing). Yes, I could close my queue and rejoin, but to wait another 22+ min to see if it works?
You’ll want to click the pencil icon and move your post to the Battlegrounds forum. Customer Support has no involvement with how the game works or otherwise may seem unusual and do not pass feedback along to those that do.

Just taking a quick glance at your armory page it shows you are honor level 9, so I’m guessing the system is putting you into the beginners queue
There are two queue-pools from what I remember:
- honor level 30 and under (starter/beginner queue)
- honor level 30 and above (most PvPers get put into this queue)
I knew something wasn’t right when I read “55 minutes”, because at max level the random queue for a epic BG should rarely be more than 7-12 minutes - it’s usually 10 minutes at the most
Horde queues seem to average 6-7 minutes at max level, and Alliance pops seem to happen around the 10-12 minutes mark
So there’s no bug here, you’re just ending up in a queue that doesn’t have many players signing up to it (since most PvPers are 30+ by now)
