High post count question

(Edit: I didn’t realize two weeks of post count carried over.)

This is a serious question that might come across as trolling, but it really isn’t. I’m actually curious:

Do the people who have 200+ posts already, in less than 24 hours, actually play the game? I feel like to have posted that much in so little time you’ve gotta have spent more time on the forums than in-game.

With that said, do people with very high post counts have an accurate depiction of the game if more time is spent here? (Since GD tends to be a minority echo chamber)

I’ve thought this in the past, but the old post count was over years.

I don’t have that many yet, but I am at work and not able to play right now, so I scroll through forums.

Two weeks of posts were carried over from the old forums and seem to have counted towards the new post counts. That’s all you’re seeing really.

Yeah I’ll browse forums when I’m away from my computer for the most part, or when I can’t play the game.

It’s a race for some of these people, I don’t understand why but it’s whatever.

Ah okay I can see that… strange.

I don’t know how to edit my post. The post count is messed up. my first post on the new forum was the one above this and it says I have 209 posts.

This guy has the right of it. There are definitely people racing to pad their metrics, mostly for trust levels, but a lot of it is just carry-over.

Most forums are echo chambers, so it’s likely that this one is and will always be.

But it takes a couple of seconds to reply to a post, 200 is nothing.

A few weeks of the old history was brought over, which would give some folks a bit of a head start I think.

Other than that… Some folks post while at work, school, etc where playing isn’t an option.

Not sure but here is some music for you:

We get a game too? I thought my $15 a month just got me posting privileges.

i’ve been playing a lot less, i usually end up AFKing when i get on

i’m hoping this changes in 8.1 but shrug

Eh, just testing something real quick. Want to see if post count is character-specific now.

Edit: Yep. It is. Does that mean trust levels are also character specific?

Yeah I believe it was stated trust is character specific, to encourage the use of just one character.

Who said it was a race? The only people that I’ve seen mention a race is “lol Snowfox will hit 10,000 first” but Snowfox never said it.

Haven’t seen Koro post. Nor Adelphie. I’m in no hurry to get back to where I was. So who said it?

Some of your post count from the old forum rolled over because they ported threads from the last two weeks over, these aren’t all new posts.

I am currently severely handicapped by the rule of Thumper.

I spend most of my time having to not say nothing at all.

Im actually playing and posting at the same time, mostly.
When Im not posting on this monitor and playing on the other its because Ive got two accounts open playing two characters simultaneously.

Back in the day high post count mean you’re a guide creator, helping in tech or UI supports, answering alot of community question, i respect those people spending their time building a better community.

These days you dont really need guide for mobile game level of complexity and grandma tier player as the target audience, so high post count just mean you :poop:post often.
