High pop balanced realms? Blizz pls implement official pop system?

I’m returning to the game with a friend to play DF after a long awhile (we skipped Shadowlands completely) and we want some advice on what server to play on. Ideally, we want a high pop server that is also balanced in terms of faction pop because we love WPvP. Can anyone recommend a good server? I’m having difficulties because…

none of the population sites are any good. For example, Undermine is supposedly a “full” server but I check the sites and there’s only like, 1000ish~ people total? Combined with Anvilmar? I decided to make a character for myself to see and I went straight to Org, and Org was full of players. So, I’m not really sure what to believe.

You dont need to be on a ballanced realm for world pvp.
War mode is meant to phase you into a world where its as close to 50% alliance 50% horde as they can get depending on how many people have it on.

Your realm has no impact on the split afaik

It never works out to 50/50 ever.

So, as in, if I phase into Warmode, I’ll be on a server/instance with people from a bunch of other servers/CRZ?

Yep :slight_smile:
It tries to make sure you have a populated world with an even split.

your server is not going to make much difference for PVP since it is across all realms anyway.
