High MS / DCs / Battle Net Lag

I am getting between 500 to 2k MS constantly and after a minute the game crashes sometimes. I played a few hours ago and everything was fine and now the game is unplayable.

My internet speed is fine, other (non battlenet) games play fine.

I’ve restarted my modem, pc, flushed dns, disabled addons all that stuff. I was reading the forums and it seems others were having same issues as my self without much help.

One thing to note when I am in game /2 chat has no lag…?

Has anyone experienced this issue and were able to fix this?

EDIT* I play west coast N/A - Tichondrius
EDIT #2 I switched my battle net to EUROPE and am only getting 60-70ms for those who are having the same issue and need a temp fix.
EDIT #3 EU worked for about half a dungeon and then started spiking and D/Ced me. welp

EDIT #4 - Welcome to my ted talk…anyway I fixed it? I ran “Scan and Repair” for WoW and after it did its thing it asked me to update the game…the update its self wasnt really an update but just a disc relocation, after that my ingame ms is in the 70’s for now…still a bit higher than usual and battle net still takes a little bit to log in but it seems to be okay as we speak.

I’m having the exact same issue. I checked my ISP with other games, ping tests, etc and everything is fine. I even have a tech coming tomorrow just to be DOUBLE sure, but this problem appeared out of the blue about an hour and a half ago.

Something is happening on Blizzard’s end but there’s no message about it yet.

Yikes. I hope they fix this soon. I just counted down how long it took for battle net app to log me in…a good 40 seconds.

The connection path is quite interesting. It looks like this:
Shaw Cable → CogentCo → :warning: Twelve99 routing peer :warning: → Level 3 routing peer → Blizzard.

That is a 209ms increase once you reach Twelve99’s node, which would definitely cause lag.
