Can someone please give me some insight on mythic + i have never had such an issue with healing them as i am this week . I ran plenty of keys back in legion 15-18+ and never really had a healing issue. Now coming into BFA i have ran and timed my fair share of 10s and 12s but im being told my stat weight is wrong. I see shamans in the 1800 range stacking crit and less mastery . But when i read things and sim my class its saying to stack mastery over all for mythic+ and wants me to sit around 25% crit. I have used addons like Mr . Robot to see if im doing something wrong and from the looks of it my stats are pretty on par. But yet i feel so under powered. i have tried changing talents around and seeing what changes but not much of a difference . I have changed up Traits to see what would benefit me more and less but yet again not much changes. Can someone please explain what is going on with my class. i have never had such an issue healing .
I love my shaman but if this is still the case in 8.1 i might just end up rerolling back to my druid or priest.
Well, stats don’t matter that much, so whoever is saying this is full of it. just wearing whatever is highest ilvl, and then doing your best to get good azerite traits and trinkets will make more of a difference.
However, I don’t know what guides you’re reading (please don’t say noxxic) that say to stack mastery or aim for a specific crit %. Plus AMR is garbage, as much as they like to say they can sim healing…you realistically can’t, but they’ll sure take your money for it anyway.
Check out the IV or wowhead guides for more direction on the basics and then there is ancestralguidance dot com as well, which covers the basics and has some more advanced topics/guides.
There are also the shaman discord servers discord.gg/earthshrine and the resto shaman discord discord.gg/AcTek6e where you can chat with other folks who might be able to provide more real time help. Especially if you have specific questions on handling things. If you’re running the standard talent builds for m+, I don’t see anything for this week that isn’t just how healing m+ has been all expansion.
That said. We’re still the weakest M+ healer, so if that’s your main gameplay, playing disc or druid would go further.

thanks for your input i was able to join the discord and a lot of my questions were answered . I would also like to add i never use noxxic i use icy or wowhead for most of my information on classes.
