From a fellow players view, maybe a couple reasons.

I’m primarily seeing an increase from Telestra to Equinix, someone mentioned earlier they had seen a post on Twitter, I could not find.

Your connecting from Singapore?

Could be related to issues with the Sea Me We 5 fibre cable, i have yet to find new was fixed.

Yep connecting from Singapore. This latency has been ongoing for days. What does Telestra to Equinix means?

Telestra I believe is an Australian backbone ISP, AS57976 a server provider. This seems to be where you have the worse part of lag.

This is the news i found on SMW5 cable damage causing issues in the region

A vpn (not sure how to explain setting one up) may help, not sure. I’d also report this to your isp to see if they can connect to telestra to investigate.

Looks like a normal connection to the west coast server from your region, I’d let it run a while to see if latency spikes.

I did just learn of issues around Vietnam fibre from June, not sure if that might be related.

The article u linked was 2 months ago. I may missed something did they repaired it already or something?

Three cables in Southeast Asia were damaged and there were no reports of them being fixed that I could find.

basically nothing we can do? not blizzard or ISP? "(

The ISP would have updates about the cables before Blizzard would.
