High Latency Without VPN

Hi,
Been experiencing more latency issues then normal. I have been through the 4 Fun self help steps as recommended. I am pretty network savvy but not 80% confident in my abilities. From my perspective, and after a call to my ISP (we all know how this is going to go) its not on our end. I was hoping I could get someone to help me run down this consistent high latency.

All that being said. I am on a short run ethernet direct from a 2.5Gb Lan port to a “10Gb” router port that run direct to modem receiving 2Gbps UP/DOWN fiber. Confirmed with multiple testing on all sorts of fun devices.

I have went from normal 20ms to 60+ms and then 120+ms and have stayed. Currently im at 122ms.

Steps to resolve that have been taken:

  1. Check Firewall/Antivirus Settings:
Ensure that your firewall or antivirus software is not blocking Blizzard’s games or services. You may need to add exceptions for Blizzard’s executables or specific ports. For detailed instructions, visit our Firewall and Antivirus Configuration guide.

  2. Restart Your Computer and Router/Modem:
A simple restart of your networking equipment can often resolve connection issues. Please refer to this article for guidance: Restart Network Devices.

  3. Disable Background Applications:
Close any unnecessary background applications that may be interfering with Blizzard programs. Resource-intensive programs running in the background can cause performance issues. Learn more about managing background applications here: Managing Background Applications. https://battle.net/support/en/article/000023848

  4. Flush DNS Cache and Reset Network Configuration:
Flushing your DNS cache and resetting your network configuration can help resolve potential conflicts. Instructions for this process can be found here: Network Configuration and DNS Cache. https://battle.net/support/en/article/82450

ISP was called we did the basics then looked at router settings and such. No effect.
Looking forward to help.
