High latency issue

Hello, looking to help drill down what might be causing this issue. I power cycled my modem/router and going from +/- 40 MS home/world in game to extended spikes of 500 - 1,000 MS home/world in game. When the latency is closer to 1,000 MS I will get spikes that last for multiple seconds and makes content impossible to complete without dying. It seems like it happens more frequently in instances than it does in solo world content, not sure if that’s coincidental. WinMTR results:

Apologies for inserting so many pound symbols. I am not able to include links in my posts so I had to modify the WinMTR results a bit.

Is this a wireless router or mobile data?

Not an expert, but while your average seems fine, you are getting some high pings starting here with a little packet loss.

I am using wifi with a Netgear adapter in my PC.

I would suspect interference in the wifi signal personally. If you can wire in and retest, try that. I did have one of these same brand usb adapters in the past, ok for video, but did not game well. I ended up getting a PCI wifi for the PC.

Ask ISP for another modem to test.
Have them do a wire test and try not to split the cable before your modem to go to other equipment.
Mine is a Arris TC1682 from zeto.
But I have my computer wired to modem.
