Well, since you closed out the last thread, here is a new one. Things were not too bad lately - until today. It’s back again. Looks like ae1-br01-eqny8.as57976. net and et-0-0-2-br02-eqch2.as57976. net are back at it once more.

I’m with Sasktel and some bg’s are unplayable ,1200ms to 15000 ms.Same with some world quests.It seems like alot of the pvp is not on NA servers.

I am also with sasktel and have had similar issues when in instanced content. My MS will shoot up into the 10000s. Only way to go forward when it happens is to alt f4. I have had a few higher keys get burned due to this. Only started happening a couple days ago

Thank god i know it isn’t me now, couldn’t figure out for the life of me what was going on. Sasktel aswell, started happening on the evening of the 5th. Still an issue as of this morning.

Did all the run around BS they tell you to do, tried without addons. Re-installed, Release/Renew IP, DNS Flush blah blah blah. Clearly not an issue on my end.

Not expecting miracles here, but some sort of insight from blizz would be fantastic.

Yeah I’m with Sasktel too. I didn’t notice the latency issues until last night, but I figured I just had something downloading because it went away eventually. Still it was shooting up to 2k ms. Today it’s just unplayable I hope it gets fixed sooner rather than later. Last time it took awhile https://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/20761937820, but thankfully it was fixed.

Seems if i close the game and re-open it within 1-3 tries i’ll end up at my normal ping and can play there for a decent amount of time before it goes downhill again. Not a fix by any means but a temporary work around to keep the game sort of playable.

What fixed it last time? Just the tuesday reset?

There was a routing problem with Frontier, NET Virtua and Charter last time. Sadly this was out of Sasktels network so fixing things took some time.

Some folks had success using a VPN as a temporary workaround.

Sasktel here too. Unable to play game, latency at around 7500 where I usually am at 80 - 100. Was slugish since last week but really is getting unplayable since yesterday.

VPN works quite well, unfortunate to have to do but way she goes.

Hey all,

If you’re suddenly having issues again, can we get a new set of winMTRs and looking glass reports from you while you’re having problems? We also need to know how high your latency is, and if it’s spiky or consistent.

A couple players in some other threads mentioned that an alternate DNS fixed it for them. Can you try setting up an alternate DNS like cloudflare or google DNS and see if it works? You’ll need to search how to do this online - it’s a more advanced step so if you aren’t too experienced with computers you may want to avoid this step.

Having the same issues here In Saskatoon using Sasktel. Loading screens take about 2 minutes even on an SSD. When I do eventually get in, I can’t cast anything, mount up or talk to NPCs. Started happening last night after I joined a M+. Almost lost the key because of this. I’m on Illidan if it helps.

Sasktel here also. Same problems also. On phone with Sasktel atm. Anyone else get their problem fixed?

Seems to be intermittent & deceptive. My latency went back to “normal” in-game. Problems re-appeared when I tried to do an Island Expedition, and I got booted from the group. Seems to also flare up when I am changing zones (boat from Zuldazar to Boralus).

Changing your DNS or using a VPN both work as a temporary fix until blizz/sasktel figure their stuff out.

Hello all the Sasktel folks! so nice to not be alone with this pain. Issue started this weekend. Definately contributed to losing out on the timer of a mythic + :frowning: Not computer savvy enough to try the fancy fixes, so hopefully this gets resolved soon.

I gave them a call today. They said absolutely nothing wrong on their end. I was recommended to port forward. All the info I was given.
