High home latency and world latency

Hi guys

Over the last couple of days I’ve noticed both my home latency and world latency consistently sitting around 160ms - east coast AUS, connecting to Oceanic datacentre on 103.4.115.248.
Tested with multiple characters, with and without addons, powercycled modem.
Consistent ping to google DNS at around 10ms, no weird network activity when viewing Ethernet via Task Manager, single network connection - no VPNs or anything.

Traceroute and winmtr below for perusal

Keen to hear any ideas. Thanks!

I am having the same issues only my ping jumps between 200 and 500 regularly. Have tried every trouble shooting suggestion I can find. Have reinstalled Windows and WoW. It’s there with and without addons. With and without 3rd party antivirus. I am at a loss. Any help would be much appreciated. I am in Kansas, US on Malygos server. Only WoW has this problem for me. Every other on line game works fine.
Here’s my trace route:

I’m having a similar issue except that my home ms stays where it should (around 26) and my world ms seems to just continue to add to itself? It will gradually go up and the number never comes back down. It’s to the point where I can’t even play the game any more as my world MS will be in the thousands while my home ms is 26.

I have tried restarting my router, updating the firmware on my router, calling my ISP to have them check for hiccups on their end (there were none), using the scan and repair tool on WoW, deleting my WTF folder, disabling all addons, closing out of every program that uses the internet except WoW, checking my network activity in Task Manger to make sure its not being overloaded, running tracert which ALWAYS shows that my ms in WoW is 26 even when it is peaking in game.

This started with the season 4 patch and is happening in no other games and with no affect to any of my other internet services or websites. Please fix this Blizzard.

Post a WinMTR instead of a traceroute. Run the WinMTR for 5 to 10 minutes while you are experiencing the issues.

I ran several tests on each IP for WoW (West and Central), each time my world MS was in the several hundreds (couldnt get it up to the thousands like last night). This was out in the world and bgs. None of the tests reflected the world MS I was getting in game but here are the results from one of them.

This usually means the problem is with the game client or UI being corrupted.

What would you suggest then? Think a full reinstall would help?

Some further info -

I did some testing with wow classic and Diablo III as all they seem to be on the same datacentre - 103.4.115.248. Exact same latency ~160ms for all three.
Contacted my ISP who logged a support ticket with their upstream provider however they don’t seem to be getting any network responses to that IP address. I wouldn’t expect any ICMP responses however they’re saying their requests are simply timing out.

Is there any way to find out who the hosting provider is on Blizzard’s end? I may need to ask for a traceroute from their side to my WAN IP.

Thanks

Are you the OP? Blizzard uses Level3 as their routing peer.
