Hi guys,
So ive been having an issue with a sort of frame stutter or choppiness. Its not major, but noticeable. It happens specifically when i move my character. Its slight, but annoying.
Now im no computer wizz, but i can find my way around with help for sure. Would just like to find out what may be causing this? I do run elvui aswell. Typically, but not always, if i disable elvui, or tsm it goes away for a bit.
I have a ryzen 3 2200g cpu
Zotac 1070 6gb gpu
16gb 2666mhz ram (2 8gb sticks)
Monitor is acer GF276, 75hz. I know its not that great but its what i have.
And an older asus monitor 60hz which i have plugged into my ryzen 3 2200g vega 8 graphics card.
Not sure if its directly tied to my addons, monitors, or maybe some nvidia settings. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Try disabling all your add-ons and run the game and see if it still give you choppy fps. If it does uninstall your Nvidia graphics driver using a software like iobit uninstaller and remove any left over stuff, restart your computer and then do a fresh install of the newest Nvidia drivers and restart your computer and try to run the game again.
The choppy fps could also be caused by something running in your background, like virus scanners.

My hunch is this may be the issue - you’re using integrated graphics to drive it, and WOW is very CPU dependent. Try either unplugging the 2nd monitor or plugging it into your 1070 and seeing what happens.
Okay, so i actually did that zungar. But it was after i fixed the problem.
The problem actually mainly stemmed from a few specific weak auras. The weak auras were using a legacy trigger, and needed to be updated. Mind you, when you update auras, the inside packets dont always update with it. Manually checking each one is the only way to ensure all weakauras had their triggers updated.
Thanks for the help guys! Much appreciated.
