Currently I have countless hero titles that never go away.
People like me compete in rbg’s for virtually no reward for years now.
What has this caused now? Everyone at the high end going towards the reward of gold boosting.
Blizzard please add something for end of season rewards for people isn’t hero that we’ve already achieved.
Most top rbg players only boost now there’s literally no top teams anymore because of it.
I went ahead and tweeted the devs to try and get their attention as high end rbg’s is completely dead now as the best players boost for millions of gold a day

Sorry dude, that would cut down revenue intake from token sales and revenue has already dropped 61% since launch.

Ive added solutions in my tweet.
Make pvp gear easy and equal to obtain.
Add meaningful end of season rewards for people that have already obtained hero(it never goes away).

Should just add a seasonal title to hero to differentiate, and an exclusive mount each season.

People may not be aware but 5 top rbg players will boost 5 self plays that they get from 3rd parties that spam advertise.
They give them about ~20% for advertising for their boosts.
They make millions of gold every hour of boosting for either wins, or rating that they pay for.

Seriously, I think they know there is a problem but they should have known this would end up being a problem from the start. MANY people predicted and warned them about what was going to happen before Shadowlands launched.
Unfortunately and realistically, the chances of them actually addressing this issue before 9.1 (several MONTHS away) is close to zero.

Yeah I’m surprised they didn’t see this coming.
I’m the only team at the highest level not doing boosting services.
I’d rather there be real rewards as I have a hard time inviting players to queue as they’d obviously rather get millions of gold than get a title they already have.

Tbh most people I know that high just got to ‘safe hero’ and quit queuing. But even 21-2200 games seem to be drying up, or I’m just browsing at the wrong hours.
Yeah that’s true a lot of people quit rbg’s after they nerfed mmr mid-season.
The players that do care about hero there’s no reason to queue.
At the beginning of the season I was at 3k mmr and now we’re at 2600 mmr. That also helped kill the bracket as it’s pointless to queue if you already obtained high rating just to lose it.
To blizzard devs: reset rating if you nerf mmr. You just helped kill a season.

I find the 1600 bracket the best bracket. Honestly so much fun
The game regardless of rbgs isn’t fun. Half the high end players are back on classic farming naxx again. Waiting for tbc. It has Systemic issues that have splintered it’s base.
No special rewards for rbgs because of how broken comps can be and it’s fairly unbalanced. The same can be said for arena but the cap isn’t near as big. Bottom line, overall rbg is to small to balance and the game in general is in worse straits other places
High end RBGs are dead? Have you tried low level Yolo RBGs on Alliance? It’s an abomination. Ranked, random PvP is frustrating and unenjoyable. They ruined it with this massive gear disparity. As an alt I get melted.

What would you suggest the rewards should be? I find with any feedback, it’s best to offer suggestions as inspiration.
I saw someone suggest a seasonal title (eg. Sinful Hero…), as someone at the high end, would that be enough motivation for you or are you thinking of something more appealing?

Not sure about Abni. I have rejoined PvP late.
They need to give better end of season rewards but they also need to revamp the system. Arena and RBG should be changed to (x) wins per week or slowly rot rating because so many people hit hella high rating before all the changes and haven’t stepped foot back in since. It would help keep bodies during the season instead of the ghost town right now.
