Do you think we will ever get high elves as a playable race in wow? So far do we have any high elf NPC characters?

I already play a number of High Elves. On both factions.
I only know of one High Elf named NPC in the game… Vareesa Windrunner.

High elves exist but we need an option to put on the race.
Level 80 high elf warrior etc

I won’t say no to them since we have multiples of many races, but I’m content with the two high elf options in game.
Just need a bit more customization and classes.

Yes, there are many High Elf NPCs. They’ve been in the game for a long time (maybe even since launch).
The most notable High Elf is Vereesa Windrunner. Alleria Windrunner was also a High Elf before becoming a Void Elf, but most of the Void Elves were Blood Elves first.

I would assume asking any elf would call themselves a high elf. Especially the nightborne.

We can fix it appying the answer for most problems in wow: “Glyphs or Customization Options”
Have a glyph or options in character creation allowing to choose different visual effects so your typical Void Elf won’t turn void blue and your active racial ability is some form of arcane blink instead of the ones they currently have.

I don’t think it will ever be a playable race as in named “high elf” under the race options in game. But more customization options would be very welcome to sort of embrace this part of the elves history as a role player. I enjoy the aesthetic of high elves and what we seen of them in the game.

It is easy to turn your Blood Elves and Void Elves into High Elves. Just select your skin tone, eyes, hair style, hair color, etc and off you go.

If a playable elf race with the label “High Elf” were ever to become playable, it would have been this expansion.
I suppose it could happen later in the expansion, but that seems unlikely. So I think it is time for High Elf fans to give up on that dream. It’s been like 20 years, it is not happening.

Hmm good question, it seems possible they could become playable. I would personally prefer to just play my Void Elf as I find it more interesting

Nah, I don’t think we will. There’s plenty of npcs, yeah. The Silver Covenant for example. They are an entire militia of high elves, led by Vereesa Windrunner.

We have void elves and blood elves. At MOST they will add skins and eye options.

I have good news; high elves are now available you can play a void elf and customize it as a high elf, and you can play a blood elf with high elf customizations.
