You have high elves by proxy. Get TRP3 if the mouse over race name means that much to you.

I think you missed the point in my response. The OP is not going based off lore, simply just wanting a full-blown High Elf. That’s why I said, are we going by OPs statement (meaning a High Elf is separate from Blood Elves, which would be against lore) or are we going by lore?
If we’re going by lore though and including things that are customizations, I see your 4 dwarves and raise you 8 Elves… So what’s the issue here again? NElf,BElf,VElf(+1 for BElf Customization), Undead(Customization), Troll, Zandalari Troll, Dracthyr Visage (Helf Customization)…

Lol, exactly.
I kinda see it that way at this point. It may be “Dwarven” like, but it’s a sub-species. Much like Elves to Trolls. (If we ever got Harronir, I believe they fall between those 2. The middle evolution if you would.)
If we nitpick everything, we can say there are well over 30 races in WoW. But for simplicities sake, we just group them together loosely based off Model/Lore. Which I’m totally ok with. Till this wild stuff starts happening lol

They could not do this for gameplay reasons, but I’d quit the game completely. I created my character how I want her and do not want forced into neutrality because of this Helf obsession.

You miss the point. Lore and canon dictates at least four different High Elf splinter groups for the Alliance only. The most popular ones are the Dalaran and Highvale High Elves, which are full blown High Elves and should be accessible to the Alliance by default. These are separate from Blood Elves.
Lack of customization. No High Elf tag, the Void Elf racial, the Void Racial voices and apparently the blood and toy transformations. For most people, Void Elves are just a hindrance to play High Elves on them, even if they have official High Elves as a subrace.
What’s the statistics for most people?

Several of those groups have also been with the Alliance since vanilla. Its not hard to see why people have been requesting them for so long. Up there with requesting Ogres.
These are indeed seperate from Blood Elves, by politics only. All of that was a Blizzard choice long ago. That is why people dispute why the High Elves that the Alliance wants can’t work. It would quite literally be a copy/paste Blood Elf just named High Elf (same racials, voice, etc. Because they are the exact same people). Look how mad people got over just another dwarf, Earthen (even though it’s not just another dwarf). Then the constant bickering about Blizz wasting resources on allied races that should have just been a customization so we can get real new races.(HM Tauren, just another Tauren. Zandalari Troll, just another troll. Maghdar Orc, just another Orc. You get the point.)
Yet they got customization. Blizz can add a High Elf tag, bet nothing changes. Void Elf racial because they dabbled in the wrong Magic (it’s really cool imo, thus why I have one).
And we need numbers to show this “most people” considering between all forms of media, none of them encompass the player base… check all the High Elf threads. It’s a loud group of 40-50 players, but thats from half of WoWs population or even half of WoWs VElf population.

In combat they should be purple because they are using their void powers.
I would be fine if say once out of combat after say a couple seconds they revert back to their non void skin tones .
Plus even if they got rid of that racial I’m pretty sure it still wouldn’t be enough for you .

And fyi, they wouldn’t have to get rid of the racial. It could be as simple as making a glyph to get rid of the purple junk.
Sorry but Void Elves are High Elves as are Blood Elves .
What you want are renamed Blood Elves .
The Alliance version was given the void stuff to distinguish them from the Horde version but you all pretty much got all the Belf cosmetics to satisfy your fantasy . The least you all can all do is adult up and accept the voidy stuff for combat at least .
