I have not played wow in about two months and today I have returned. The reason for two months are family issues. But when I went to void elf’s I saw a something I thought would never come. A high elf customization with blue eyes. So I made a destruction warlock and I’m very excited to play. My question is everyone happy with this?

As long as you’re happy that’s what counts. For me I just see void elves as a cheap knock off but to other’s I guess it could mean high elves.

Some are happy, some think they shouldn’t have given VEs those options at all, some think they need to give them more options.
If anything High Elves would have been the cheap option.

I don’t mind the concept of High elves existing in WoW and being playable despite the memes I make about them.
I have issues with the community.
High elves and Void elves are two different identities and should not co-exist on one template. And now I’m just terrified that the void aesthetic will get hard ignored all for some entitled instant gratification.

Doubt it, theres the racial abilities, one which is highly noticeable, and they dont have blonde or white hair on top of having unique hair options with tentacles
Some people are happy and some are not. I personally don’t think they should have given Void Elves Blood/High elf options, but I’m not going to let it bother me.

If I had to pick a take, I’d say they should’ve stuck with the VE theme instead of splitting the difference and giving them options to make them sort-of HEs. I’m not really too concerned either way though.

I have seen requests of them wanting to change their traits to hide the void aesthetic.
And if that does not signify taking over a race and washing it down then I don’t know what does for these people.
