High Elf POSITIVITY Thread 😎

Oh right, there’s an excuse for everything. Say that the people you disagree with aren’t really people and that’s just fine.

That’s your own speculation. Not mine

It’s been made clear by blizz that ‘feedback’ wasn’t the reason for Blood Elves going Horde.

I’ll put it this way, if you can’t handle a post in this thread or anywhere that has no insults or isn’t harrasment, then General Discussion forums aren’t for you.

Sure. Except I know this horse has been beaten before many times and players have repeatedly explained what the dev said when he mentioned the request. I’m not going to go through the same bologna again, but feel free to solidly show where feedback had nothing to do with it.

You mean by the one ex-employee on twitter with his post because he was a Warlock class designer, not a lore or story developer?

hmm i think we all need a positive elf energy drink.
dang why doesnt twitch have the updater for retail wow addons… it just has it for classic wow addons. unless someone can explain how to access the retail version?

Well then, if GD is all rough and tumble like that maybe you should stop trying to police the people arguing with you from reacting to your friends?

Wait, if you believe those things, why would you want High Elves in the Alliance? They are the same race as BLood Elves. They’re the same people and everything, basically. It’s just a political difference that separates them.

Shouldn’t this logic be applied to your desire for Alliance High Elves?

yeah, but i can’t imagine you’ll get high elves without the silver covenant, so i guess you’ll have to accept the “evil elves” if you desire high elves

Oh hunny, we got that covered too

While I still have a migraine I still had this tab open and noticed a ping ugh sigh

But to this I say not really? Did you want me to petition against the Alliance High Elves?

Alliance High Elves already are in the Alliance, and come off extremely submissive and conforming to Alliance values and culture, they do not conflict the way more in your face Nightborne do, or prideful (and rightfully so imo) Blood Elves.

i think they are different culturally, cause various references refer to them being assimilated into the surrounding cultures, and not just culturally but genetically too. so even if they identify as high elves, they probably wouldnt stand, walk, speak, or dress the same way as sindorei. they’d follow the established norms of their families and friends, many of which would not be high elves.

as a result, i think a good argument could be made for them not having the same animations or even the exact same look.

thats because theyve never been given any kind of development lan. thats why they appear lifeless and ‘submissive.’ antis(likely devs and neutrals as well) see an unimportant story element in the background of other more important stories revolving around the politics of dalaran, you see a major alliance race

hope you feel better soon though

I suppose my point is just that there is nothing wrong with Nightborne or Blood Elves being Horde. But I think both races embody the qualities of Highborne that Night Elves dislike, and they both thrive and don’t conform the way I’ve seen High Elves on Alliance. (Which we all know I do support it’s a story narrative that I feel is valid to be explored)

Arguably Alleria embodies the Alliance High Elf submissiveness and conformity that I just don’t see Nightborne and Blood Elves adhering to. The whole “High King I remember when our people fought side by side” line is inherently indicative of Alliance High Elf sentiments. So I do not really think the same logic needs to apply the way I was asked above simply because the High Elves on the Alliance have only further cemented their conformity, and I’m not inclined to argue Blood Elves or Nightborne don’t belong on the Horde when I think those particular races flourish better there.

Also thank you.

hey now. i am not evil. i might be a bit goofy but i’m not evil. occasionally mutter to myself but not total fruitcake yet. lets say i’m sorta fruity.

Would any of you antis make a high elf if the alliance gets them?

If I switched myself to be a Void Elf Paladin, with the power of the Light and Void, I will be totally more evil than Garrosh and Sylvanas.
