Which is exactly the core of the issue at its most simple. Itās simply⦠about a subjective design choice, one that I donāt agree either. But it just is what it is.
The fact that pandaren exist just further points out at how inconsistent it actually is. Thereās just not a coherent and deliberate reasoning that grants logic to all the design decisions. Itās a lot of āwe felt like itā it seems.
The only time it would make sense to have the high elves joining Alleria in taking in the void would have been during Legion, since the battle against the Burning Legion was a desperate one. I mean, the Army of the Light was losing up until the player character and the Vindicar showed up. Alleria did the thing with Locus Walker because she thought it was worth it to pay the price for power to use against the Legion.
Youād need another burning legion-tier threat that is not of void/dark origin to justify it now, to say nothing of requiring the exact same circumstances to make it plausible. And even then itāll look like Blizzard doing something they should have done long ago.
Iāve already forgotten what Blood Elves are getting in all honesty. The human skin tone diversity is nice, and Iām sure would apply to High Elves when they are added.
I was holding out for undead BE customization (still am)
Iām rather keen on my face and eye option I have now, but Iād like more hair styles I guess is the main one for me now. Jewelry of some sort, NB males have ear jewelry I want that too.
I want that one shade that NB have that tealy green like color (they only have 3?) I see NE female models are getting it but I didnāt see it displayed on males? Idk why it strikes me as Highborne esque but I like it.
Iām still thinking about the NE heritage, also still thinking about potential HE heritage armors.
Ever since Cata, sheās done nothing but become the very thing she once sought to destroy. I wanted to have more respect for her, when I saw her fighting against the demons at the start of Legion. But that effort came to a screeching halt when I saw what she did in Stormheim and didnāt see her anywhere on either the broken shore or Argus. Then whatever respect for her I ever had immediately got flushed down the toilet when I found out about Teldrassil.
I think you had your awakening on her in Stormheim, but a lot of others didnāt.
They either somehow thought Greymane was more in the wrong as a rogue agent of vengeance than Sylvanas trying to enslave someone (Eyir) or they simply did not think Sylvanas was in the wrong at all on that front.
Most undead are evil and enjoy the suffering of others. I donāt know how anyone can miss Sylvanas is evil. After we put her head on a spike I suggest we start a crusade against all undead and work to destroy them all. Including the ebon blade.
